SaitoHajime101's Cardcaptor Sakura Tv Review

Okay quite the number of issues to discuss. First area I like to cover is the length of the series and how episodic it really was. Now it seems like each episode connects right after another, but thats only true to an extent. It only connects when its running a current plotline that takes more than one episode. Aside from that its very episodic and it doesn't connect at all, especially when they're chasing Clow Cards for the first 20-something episodes. It didn't work well with this series that needed some constant reminders of what the plot was really about, not this consistent off-trackness it had going.
Second issue was the fact that the writers were looking for the theme to be love but they didn't quite make it clear enough until the second season.

-Edit- I am not sure if CLAMP presented Card Captor Sakura on the way I am thinking, but I believe that they made a story that would surely make one curious. In fact, their latest project, Kobato (and others as well) also has some curious moments like Kobato not allowed to take off her hat. But on CCS, it's somehow, to the point, extreme, that is, for people whose curiosity has been transformed into malice.
I don't want to argue about that observation because it did got flak (c'mon, THAT's what I observed!), but on a general view, CCS got really good attention, not just on the common patron, but on almost all types of viewers. In general, the story is fantasy, with good whiffs of romance, fun, and moral sidelights. But at the same time, some situations are NOT morally good.

Enriya's Cardcaptor Sakura Tv And Manga Review

CardCaptor Sakura will keep you locked in your seat and wanting to see the next episode or read the next book. It has everything that you can dream of.
It has comedy like when tomoyo makes sakura put a costume on every times she goes into battle or when syaoran was sleeping beauty and sakura was the prince.
It has action like all the times she has to capture the cards or fight yue in the final judgement days.
It has romance like with Rika and the teacher or Syaoran and Meling or Sakura and Syaoran. Everytime you see someone blush or cry it makes you said or go Kawaii.
CCS has everyhting that you can think of and more. Clamp made it so you would enjoy it and want to rewatch it over and over again. Or just pick up the book and read it from the beginning.

Syeung321's Cardcaptor Sakura Tv Review

Cardcaptor Sakura was really appealing for me because the story is really original and i liked the mixed genres like comedy (it definitely was funny), fantasy and romance. It really made me laugh when Sakura and Syaoran both acted really strange in front of Yukito, especially Syaoran when he tries to impress Yukito and gives him gifts. I don't really understand the relationship between Yukito and Touya though... are they just friends or something more??? I also really liked Tomoyo with er obsession with filming Sakura coz it adds a funny touch to serious situations. But something really bothers me though... Sakura is only 10 and she already admits that she loves Syaoran (sorry for the spoiler) and the whole blushing and awkward moments really startled me and i'm only 15! Oh well...

Adventshadow's Cardcaptor Sakura Tv Review

100% original. At least, I haven't heard of an anime about a 10 year old girl with magic powers who collects powerful magical cards with a staff... otherwise, its something that will feel refreshingly new to you, especially if you're a regular anime watcher. Me, I've seen to many romance animes, which most of the share like 3 or 4 storylines - a love triangle/square/octagon etc, or childhood friends, or siblings not related by blood etc. So Card CAptor Sakura was that much more appealing to me.
Humor... some of the things that they do, make you laugh cause its cute. Sakura and Syaoran act all funny nex to Yukito, and the stuff Toya does to Sakura is also hilarious...but again, maybe thats just for me :P. There isn't any "its funny if someone gets hurt" stuff here.

Sakura01's Cardcaptor Sakura Tv Review

Card Captor Sakura is really a fun show to watch because it is so funny in some sort of way like when Tomoyo suddenly pops out holding her Camcorder recording Sakuras every move. It is really very enjoyable to watch (If you're a CCS fan) and the show is really exciting in some way, it's also very entertaining for kids of all ages.
It's also unlike any anime a.k.a. it is very ORIGINAL because it goes over Romance >> Comedy >> Action, until it goes over the cycle again. The shows Romance will definetly make your heart melt and your face blush, Its Comedy will make you laugh all over again and the action will make you think It is really happening. The Love Triangles and Hate Triangles there are somewhat funny.

Shirahana's Cardcaptor Sakura Tv Review
Rated:
In the sense of originality, Card Captor Sakura can be both. In many stories that involve a quest, the protagonists usually has to gain a little something at each point. For Card Captor Sakura, our protagonist Sakura must capture different cards that hold a different power, Clow Cards. This series is unoriginal in the sense that it involves this type of quest (which can also be seen in the quite popular series "Pokemon.") However, it is original the same time, for the design and power of each Clow Card is unique and holds a style of its own.
There is not much witty humor in Card Captor Sakura, but like any other anime/manga, Card Captor Sakura has its classic anime humor, ie. anime falls, sweatdrops, and popped-out veins when angry.
