Shuffle is a good mix of romance and comedy, but the drama was too stressed after episode 19 or so. There was almost a complete change of genres, so it was puzzling to understand it all. However, the storyline required such a drastic change, and the plotline was good too, although during the end half, the storyline pace was much faster. The ending was weird too, because at the last three episodes we learned all the answers of the mysteries, and Rin had to take care of them all in the last episode. Shuffle could have done better with more episodes and at a more consistant pace. The series was enjoyable, however, and it showed depth in both characters and plots. Other than the romance and the setting, the characters and situation was rather believable and realistic.

Shoujoboy's Shuffle! Tv Review

After finishing this show I'm still finding myself wondering exactly what to consider Shuffle! On the whole is was fairly entertaining but I think that the design of the series was faulty. I believe it should have focused on what made the show entertaining, comedy. Too much of the time though it wanted to become very serious. Through the first half of the series it was the regular old one guy, lots of girls anime. Watching them all go crazy over him and watch him just blush. It did use a lot of the same tools that animes of this lot use for entertainment, but it was still enjoyable to watch. It's just that I felt that redundancy really kicked in when the serious parts of the show came around.

Nismosis' Shuffle! Tv Review

I feel that the overall aspect of Shuffle! was quite enjoyable. The humor of the series is rather clean for the most part and the overall story flows nicely from episode to episode. Unlike a lot of series in the same genre, Shuffle! has captured me with its lack of filler episodes. Every episode seems to play nicely into one another even if only to show the tightening bonds betweem the male protagonist and one of the female leads. There are also a few story arcs that are thrown into the mix to keep the flow straight forward and on task. There is a small span in which Nerine is the primary focus of the male lead, then there is another with Sia as the focal of attention, then you will find a lot of tension with the Primula arc that has yet to be completed.
