Here is the other major downfall. The bad things included many and I will elaborate. One major pain was the fact that the anime tried to follow manga but also tried their own twists; it just made the episodes drag out longer and end up as fillers. For the most part, I felt that the series was a major filler up until the Kyoto trip story arc and the Asuna's death story arc... even then they butchered it up. Some examples of filler episodes and killing the manga storyline was the episode where Negi enters some kind of contest and other girls try to get him. That was a waste of an episode and it was told better in the manga with actual kissing and the ogre teacher Nita... quite unfortunate.

Fireflower's Mahou Sensei Negima! Tv Review

The anime can be considered to be in the cutesy and funny genre, with a side-dish of fanservice. The humor comes from the fanservice (the infamous "oops..!! sorrrrrrry~!!!!! I'm came in by accident..!! I SWEAR!!!!!!!!" sort of thing) and the different reactions the girls have to our little star, Negi. for example, Asuna (Negi's big-sis aka nanny aka student) hates him to the core because he is a wet-behind-the-ears kid, but the Chairman, Ayase, thinks otherwise (that pedophile..!). it's definitely a joy to watch if you dont mind the fanservice and hentai-ness. The opening song is cheery and fun to watch and the ending song makes a good finishing touch to each and every single episode.

This manga is full of humor, adventure and ecchi. If you want to find drama manga, well this is not your choice then ^^.
The humor on the anime is quite funny. If you want to find Ecchi part, read the manga then, its full of it ^_^'
The character in the story...... It become more and more intresting every chapter and every episode. If you have time,
this anime/manga is good to watch ^^
The character of this anime looks like Love Hina, but more many and more beautiful. Its drawn pretty good.
Negi is surrounded by 30 (or more? i forgot) girls at his class, geez i wonder if someone could stand it.... and not
just that, he also searching for his father that gone missing.
