Two ordinary high school girls, Himeko and Chikane, discover they are in fact the reincarnations of the lunar and solar priestesses, destined to summon the Ame no Murakumo to fight the evil of the Orochi and its eight necks.
Along with this they must deal with Souma, one of the Orochi who struggles with his destiny and his feelings for Himeko.

Story & Characters
Story-The storyline was a compilation of almost everything a male could want. There are lots of girls, lots of mechas,
lots of romance/drama, and then there is also shoujo ai. The series starts in a very weird way. They begin with a
normal school sereies, and then at the end floods the episode with lots of characters and action. An enemy even
switches sides in the very first episode. The series distinctively points out all the villians, but we never really know
why its like that. There is a conflict between to sides, supposedly good and evil, but the reasons are never made
really clear. The ending of the series is pretty well done, they DO manage to explain everything that happend and why,
but it would of been better if they spaced it out throughout the series. To me the storyline started decently, became
very complicated, and then ended a little too quick and simple.
Characters-Most of the characters are either very messed up or have very basic personalities. There is Oogami, the ever
protective hero wannabe that always strives to protect Himeko. He is the most predictable and ordinary character in
this series, which made him seem a little out of place with everyone else. The overall story revolves around the romance
between Chikane and Himeko, by building up their relationship a little and then using that as a base for all the future
conflicts.

Art
This series had so much potential for making excellent wallpapers, with lots of decent screenshot moments, except that
they never really accomplish that. The characters at times, seem a little to short, which just felt really weird. The
mechas were decently drawn, but not that impressive. For a shoujo-ai type genre they do manage to use lots of nice
scenery shots, with lots of still scenes to emphasize the moments. The series could of done a lot more though.

Sound
The Re-sublimity Single CD is to me, the BEST single cd i have ever heard of. My favorite being Agony. The songs are
really fantastic, with Kotoko really showing her stuff. The OP/ED both really fit the series, the ED concluding every
episode VERY nicely. With Re-sublimity, a suitable OP with a very nice OP video and Agony, a song with a quiet start,
that introduces the ED very nicely. The soundtrack is all classical style, which i don't like that much, but fits
the drama, romance series very nicely. The voices are all pretty well done, with all the cliche characters and cliche
voices, but they fit so there is nothing to complain.

Presentation
Value-The music is something obviously worth watching the series for. I would of just watched the series to watch and
hear the OP/ED. Other than that the series is filled with nothing special, but comprised of soo many things that it is
SURE to be something unforgettable.
Enjoyment-The first time I saw the series.. I stopped watching it after Five minutes. My friend then talked a lot about
it and i decided to give it another try. I stopped watching after the first episode. A couple months later another
friend was talking about the music, and i listed to Agony, Re-sublimity, and Suppuration and I was hooked. I finally
decided to watch the series, and did so over a spaced out period of time. I did enjoy the series in that there was a lot
of weird events, that i just wanted to know how this demented series ended. The series also had lots of fanservice in
random parts that just made the series VERY awkward to watch.
The presentation is overall decent, with great music paired with okay animation, supporting the strange situations.
