Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne tv Review
Maron Kusakabe is your typical sweet high school girl. What most kids in her class don't know is that she lives by herself in an apartment, waiting for word from her parents who left the country some time ago. And what no one knows is that when nightfall comes, she transforms into Kaitou (Thief) Jeanne, a reincarnation of the famous Joan of Arc. Her mission: to seal the demons within various pieces of art and items who are possessing their owners.
In the process, the item/artwork is destroyed, so Jeanne is constantly at odds with the police force, including her best friend Miyako Toudaiji. Life becomes even more complicated, though, when a new guy moves in next door and suddenly a new kaitou appears.
Maron must bravely handle being a high school girl, dealing with her friends, her feelings, and all the challenges being a kaitou brings!
Story & Characters
The plot of this amazing comic is so heart wrenching that it will make you cry. it is the most beautiful peice of anime.
It begins when Maron's parents seperate before she turns ten. They use there jobs to go over seas and get a divorce
leaving Maron all alone, in the dark. She lives on for a few more years when a little second class angle Fin Fish! comes
and tells her that Kami-sama (god) recarnated (recreated) Joan D' Arc wich is Maron. Fin is a key part in Maron
turning in to the master theif Kaitou Jeanne, who seals demons in priceless works of art. The demons possess a pure
humans heart if they are touched by the beauty of the item that they are hiding in.
Jeanne continues to seal demons increasing Gods power untill a mysterious stranger who also has the power
to seal demons appears, Kaitou Sinbad (kiatou sindabata)
He compeats agains Jeanne to seal the demon first. He even saves her a few times.
Near the same time that Sinbad appears Maron meets a new neighbor, a boy named Chikai. Who her best
friend Myakio falls in love with. Maron has a grudge against Chikai ever since they first met and she tries to avoid him
despite his obvious attraction to her.
Sinbad also has a second class angel named Access who helps him transform back to Chikia and back to
Sinbad. Access has a hidden past with Fin and has loved her for a long time but Fin wont take any notice of it, she
despises Access because she thinks he is the "devils helper"
This is a beautiful story of love and betrayal the only reason that i give it a mere eight is
because there are parts were you will scream at your TV or Computer going "you are so stupid!" things also
tend to get quite annoying such as Maron transforming into Jeanne. If you want to read the full story then go to:

Art
The art is very original and complicated. The hair is a beautiful style and it looks very good. The DVD however is pretty bad. i dont really like it. It looks very computer generated and it looks so unreall. The dialoug is worth it though. Some parts of the anime are very scratchy like the lines look like they are in the wrong place. And some parts in the DVD are kinda like the flinstone back rounds. They dont change the charater just keeps moving. The Movie also looks like it was made before the anime because some parts are excluded from the anime and the DVD has more content! it has like five discs four hours each!!

Sound
The music is very cool its kinda like techno with a rocking twist. The favorite (maron humms it alot in the movie) would be "Piece of Love" its a very cool song. The backround music is very cool it contrubutis to the mood of the story alot. Each main charater has it own theme song, such as the detective and his daughter Myaiko have a song that plays for them. Fin has one as well as Maron, Sinbad, Jeanne, Noin. all the key charaters its a very nice sound track. If you look around hard enought you will be able to download the songs. they get kinda destracting though the songs get stuck in the head easily! but thery are pretty happy.

Presentation
It is very enjoyable to read. The overall presentation to the anime is beautuiful and very good i encouragh alot of
people to read it. expecalsy when you think that your life is bad you can go through all the experiences of Maron. It is
very sad especally about how it wall went donw. in the end it really makes you question who is your enimy and who is
your friend. It really questions weather you are really happy. it is really really good!!! i hope you al read it! it is
so pretty and there are just no words that can describe what you will feel after you read it. y can almost garuenttee
that you will cry laught and think really hard! please read it!
It is hard to give an over all presentaion because i dont want to give out any spoiler so read the plot carefully and
see if you like it. Also it is good to read if you feel like you are alone alot and if you ever feel like sad and very
depressed. Its one of those stories were you can say there is a cloud with silver linning. :)
The humor is very funny when it is there. that is another nice thing about the story. it will pick you up
when you are feeling depressed for Maron. There are parts were it is really funny and you just cant stop laughing. But
to equal it out you know there are going to be very sad parts. :(

You don't have to purchase the DVD, in fact don't there is a fan sub on the web that you can download with Bittorrent. Here is the website:

Nice review! This is one of my favorite Arina Tanemura series. I loved the manga but I don't think the anime was as good since the story is a little different (they should have stuck to the manga, I say). Still, both are definitely worth seeing. ^_^
