Midori no Hibi

Midori no Hibi tv Review

Seiji Sawamura is the toughest seventeen-year-old in town, feared by all for his fighting prowess and his deadly "devil's right hand." But at heart, Seiji is a softy, and all he wants is an end to his seventeen-year history of being a lonely single guy. Unfortunately, his tough-guy reputation only serves to decrease his popularity with the ladies.

Then one day, Seiji wakes up to discover his "devil's right hand" has turned into...a miniature gal named Midori! Strangely enough, Midori is a real girl who is just as surprised as Seiji to find out she has now become--literally--Seiji's right hand! It turns out Midori has always had a crush on Seiji, and her desperate wish to be connected with him has somehow come true...maybe all too true!

Story & Characters

To start my review with midori no hibi (midori days, in english titles) I'll make a summarize story, a very short one... Seiji Sawamura, a High school student who wants a girlfriend, but the problem is all the boys are scared of him because of his devil right hand, since the guys are scared of him, even girls are scared of him, the trait(s) that anyone knows, he just fight with those guys that are much stronger than him, or those people who bullies weaker people, that's why Kasugano Midori, a shy secret lover of Seiji, but the problem is, Seiji doesn't know her.... and since Seiji wants a girlfriend and Midori loves Seiji, one day, in frustration of Seiji for all the rejection that he have from girls... he thinks that the only girlfriend he have is his righthand and he desperately wants a girlfriend, out of nowhere, midori started to be his righthand, and the story all started at this part... day1... by the way, ayasi is one of the characters that secretly loves Seiji, want to know why? watch this anime... ok?

about my comment here in Miori no hibi, the story is very good, why I don't choose exellent? because, a girl being a righthand of a boy? is IMPOSSIBLE!!!!, O well, since it is anime, everything is possible so that reason is not accepted, right? the next reason is, Midori seems to be totally different from the Midori that was been shown in past events about her, she is totally different, ok? eventhough she is cute, I know that sometimes it will irritate you due to her behaviour since she becames a part of seiji(righthand thing...)

one thing is excellent with this anime, you'll definitely laugh and gives you some good values and morals about loving and taking care of your life and being HONEST with your true feelings when you love somebody... also, the plot is very good, and all the conflicts that have happen are being solved at the end...

Art

the visual representation of this anime is definitely very good, it is somehow detailed and also the way they make effects are good, by the way, the characters emotions and the scene emotions are good, how the time and place had happen are excellent with the story... it also represent each character with unique creativity and characteristics... what else can I say??

there is only one thing that was running in my mind... how come that a human body be a part of another human body and the worst thing is, it is just the size of a right hand... I mean she is the rigt hand, in anatomy, you'll definitely need a skull and spinal column and other bone structure to put the skins in a human form, so, in a structure of a bone in your hand, you'll definitely need tons of bones and it will be insufficient if you'll use your bones in your hands, also, where does the brain of miori come from?? somewhat like a mushroom that just popped out from nowhere, anyway just I said in the "story" review, anything is possible in anime/cartoons...

Sound

The soundtrack is definitely suits the whole story, specially mousukoshi mousukoshi ( I like this song) the voices f characters are excellent, also, the voices do really synchronize the way they act or the mood of characters, for example, if the character is angry, the voice sounds angry, right?? that is what I mean... hehehe.... I watch this anime in dubbed in english so I don't know the voice in jap, but one thins is for sure, it do really suits the characters voices.....

I also like the insert song, the insert do really suits the event/happenings... it makes the event more enjoyable, so I salute the compositor and singers who is behind all of this...
So, if you have the budget to buy this OST, you'll definitely want one(if your a collector)

Presentation

hmmm..... the representation is really good, honest, you'll enjoy watching it, but sometimes you'll be irritated with midori in her tiny voice and think that how about if this anime will be entitled with days of ayasi?? hehehe... anyway, they represent the whole story in a day to day manner, the story starts in a new dat and ends at night or afternoon??

Also, the story is very short, when I say very short, it is very short... it has 13 episodes with 24 minutes each episodes, but the fact is, they have a good plot in that short series.. so it is trully original and unique, from characters, story, plots, events, situations, time and places...

Just like I said in the story, one thing is excellent with this anime, you'll definitely laugh and gives you some good values and morals about loving and taking care of your life and being HONEST with your true feelings when you love somebody... also, the plot is very good, and all the conflicts that have happen are being solved at the end... you'll definitely satisfied on what will happen in the ending.... So, I'll recommend this anime if you want an anime that was very short but have a good plot of story...

Nice review and the story plot.. well explained..
yah, ur ryt about the conflict anatomy concept of the series regarding a human being attached in someone else's arm..

This is an excellent review and an excellent anime. I've found it to be one that does seem very confusing until you sit down and watch it when somehow everything makes sense and it's possible to just go with the flow.

The only thing I have heard in addition to what was said, is that the anime focuses mostly on Midori and Seiji Sawamura whereas the manga covers a lot more stories about some of the "minor" characters in the anime.

eh...I think you need to touch up a bit on the flow of the summarised story, sometimes it didn't quite make sense and you didn't really finish your sentences.
I think you're thinking too deeply about the whole biologically impossibleness of the anime plot..hahaha...it was just meant to be a lighthearted anime that brings a touch of romance to it. if you over analyse, most anime will be impossible. ^^
I thought this anime was a bit cliched, there's too many school type anime that have happy endings, but it was still worth watching. It didn't really leave me with something to think after it ended though, which is something that I really like about good anime.

aahh.. Mr. Shijiro Kanzaki, do u know me? I know you very well.. Oi Tito Rey!

Nice review. I love Midori no Hibi too..although I haven't seen the anime yet. Midori means green, right? Great. Midori's hair is green.

I like the way you wrote this review. Actually, I agree with what akika said. You sorta..didn't finish your sentences. Whaaaa! That doesn't really matter, ne? The important thing is, you wrote the review. Period.

Let's talk about that anime. Midori sprouted from nowhere, right? She just became Seiji's right hand. Arrrgh.. there's nothing wrong with the art. Anime artists have their own style of drawing, so don't you worry about Midori's anatomy..LOL

It's true. Midori's voice is small(feh, duhhhh.. she's small, right?), and I love it! Mehehh..Seiji gets to see her naked, ne?

Imma off to your other reviews! Bye!
