A few spelling errors here and there, but its not bad enough to interfere with your general idea. Good review
Resident Evil: The Dark Side Chronicles game Review
Story & Playability
The story is that of previous Resident Evil Games, pimped up and redone (although just a little bit), plus a juicy new story set in south america. It follows the exploits and adventures of our favourite zombie-killing duo, Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield. Later on you get to play as Jack Krauser, Steve Burnside and Chris redfield (sadly, no wesker). Being a resident evil game, the story is pretty much as thus; a deranged, psychotic guy turns a whole area into zombies for his own nefarious needs, convinced that what he is doing isright, before turning into a monster. If you think about it, that seems to be the running plotline for the RE games. No complaints here though, it just means another gore-filled monster killing fest (hooray!). The story starts a few years before the start of Resident Evil 4, and lEon and Krauser are a team. They investigate a south american village and go on a massive zombie killing spree (or "bio-organic weapon" fr you RE zealots). Leon then explains to a bemused Krauser how the zombie situation all began, leading to a flashback, which in itself leads to a replay of the g-virus and veronica virus bits of resident evil. I won't go deeply into the intricate details of the story though you won't be missing out on much.

Graphics
Being a rail shooter, you'll see things directly from the character's point of view, with a little cursor following your wiimote. the visuals are deliciously hd (for a wii game, anyway). The cutscenes are gorgeous to look at, and you'll find yourself going to the gallery to watch them over and over again( espescially to watch the classic, gorgeous Ada wong kick some zombie behind). The zombies look realistic, and this time round i can shoot my way through Raccoon city without having to point my gun at a pixelated blob that may or may not be a zombie. every drop of blood, bit of zombie drool, or bullet-hole you've put in an over-sized frog will be a pleasure to look at. The zombies have each been designed to resemble their predecessor couterparts from the older resident evils we know and love, but manage to this time look even scarier and realistic. Unlike other games, Resident Evil: the darkside chronicles doesn't have to use fanservice to make females hot (although there is a moment in the prison where steve is staring at claire's behind; you sly dog steve!), they're all attractive in their own way. Some extremely sour reviewers on other such websites as ign and gamespot might say ridiculous things about the graphics being a bit dated; but forget them, i'm going to go watch the scene in which leon and ada kiss. Awwwww, its so pwecious.

Sound
The sound leaves something to be desired. the bg music is ok, while not being outstanding (when you compare it to something like the dragon quest overture, but then again EVERYTHING pales in comparison) and the dialogue, while fitting to the situation, is done to death, cheesy and at some points a little pathetic. What's that, leon? this is like a horror movie you say? of course it is, leon, of course it is. However, while the dialogue is horrible, it sometimes has its moments. krauser's lines, while laden with expletives, are priceless. he'll prompt you to shoot a zombie off his back while dropping an s-bomb, and then tell you to watch your back (comrade); his lines all have, in their rugged way, a bit of charm. At the same time whenever you play using Claire you'll want to shoot the television with a high-powered rifle. "These bugs are enornous!" THEN SHOOT THEM, CLAIRE, DON'T JUST STAND THERE GAWKING! phew. That said, the voice acting is something to be commended. The dialogue doesn't just sound like a 4kids anime dub, it sounds like an actual zombie invasion, the way words are urgently said. You can tell Krauser is a hardened, seasoned soldier. You can tell Ada is a hot woman who can keep her composure in pressing situations. It's just that the things that they say will anger you. They're just so corny, it hurts. It hurts so bad.

Fun
"Ohmygod, ZOMBIE!": you will hear this monotonous phrase from every character a minimum of 14 times, and after a while your head will hurt. the wavy camera is frustrating and always strikes at a crucial moment. For example, whenever you want to pick up some shot gun or rocket launcher ammo the camera swivels to where the boss is, who proceeds to mercilessly pummel you into the ground without fear of getting shot, as you've run out of ammo. This is espescially frustrating when you have a friend over, as the ammo is shared in multiplayer. One of you will yell, "Go for the first aid spray, I'll hold him off with the shot gun!" and the other will yell, "heck no! You always waste the shotgun ammo!' and thus begins a torrential downpour of expletives. But that might just be me. On the plus side, the game is full of unlockables for you to just sit back and admire. it's so full of guest appearances that die-hard RE fans will scream like giddy school girls when their favourite character makes an appearance (mine is HUNK) ,though the absence of Jill, Rebecca and Billy upsets me. The shooting is fun, as theres the option of spraying your enemies with the submachine gun or going for headshots with a pistol, both of which are always fun. The graphics are total eye-candy, so much so that your eyes will be darting all directions as your character treks through the RE world. though the dialogue and story are very same-ish, i can't complain; it's the resident evil i know and love, and it will be the same for most fans.

Leon returns? but I liked the review, you made me curious into checking it out due to the fact, like resident games in the past, it's always been hard to attack anything due to the fact I run out of ammo too fast. yet I'm use to hearing phrases over and over in video games, after awhile I tune them out and they no longer bother me any.
