Story & Playability

Lord Zetta, the most powerful overlord in the universe that ever existed. He is scared because of his tremendous mana power, so that there\'s no overlord that dare to fight him. Later, he found out a prophecy telling him that his netherworld coming to its doom. Zetta, desperately trying to save the netherworld know that he must seek a \"thing\" called the Sacred Tome. He found it, but there\'s still some problem. A thunder god come and try to kill him before he reach the sacred tome. Of course, being the most \"bad-ass\" overlord in the universe, he easily dispose the thunder god. when he reach the Sacred Tome and opened it, however some \"things\" happened and his netherworld crumbled.
Then Zetta got an idea, he\'s going to sealed his spirit.. or his mana (damn, i forgot about that one already....) to the sacred tome.
Still Now Zetta is just a \"book\" without a power to even walk by itself . Got a help from an another overlord from another netherworld, Pram the Oracle, Valvolga, Seedle, Babylon and other overlord as well. Not only that, there\'s some things happened near Zetta a girl named Trenia, that somehow make Zetta feel something for her.. it looks like he can\'t kill her because of something that he doesn\'t even know. And there\'s Salome, Zetta\'s long apprentice that has a feeling for him. Of course Zetta doesn\'t even cared about that, Until he know that she\'s the one helping him for....a thing...
and of course another problem from his rival, Alexander.
Now, could Zetta ever got his body back with all this problem ?

Nippon Ichi has make another series, this time back to the old idea....the Netherworld. However i still find that the story isn\'t too intresting like Disgaea. This one is just going to an simple idea : \"Get my body back !\" , unlike disgaea, Laharl wants to be an overlord, but the story the grow to an Angel, Human and Demon. The story isn\'t too bad but isn\'t too good either

Lord Zetta - Overlord Zetta is the most badass freakin\' Overlord in the cosmos. Zetta change his personality after learning what Salome\'s done for him. He always wants power for himself.

Pram the Oracle - Pram is the youngest Overlord in the cosmos, having managed to take over her father\'s netherworld when she was only two (Wew.......). While she stands out for her ability to predict the future amazingly naturally and her sheer level of power, it\'s said that she possesses another rare ability among the Overlords - Shapeshifting, though noone can truly verify this. Rumors say that she has only used it once.
Alexander the God of Destruction - Alexander is and always be Zetta\'s rival.Alex has attempted to take over Zetta\'s Netherworld multiple times, and employed several assassins, but thus far, none of his attempts have succeeded. While Zetta considers this proof that he won, Although Alex claims that the fact that Zetta hasn\'t taken over his Netherworld is proof that the battle\'s been a draw, and that he can still kill off Zetta at any time. Even when Zetta\'s trapped in the book, he still try to kill him and gain the title of the overlord.
Lady Salome - Zetta\'s long apprentince. She once said to have a powerful mana power that even exceed Zetta\'s. But somehow her mana power draining and leaving her body to a sick condition. That even makes her netherworld lose its mana power. She always loved Zetta with all her heart < >
Dark Lord Valvoga - Dark Lord Valvoga is actually three Overlords in one: Micky the Demon General, Ophelia the Fallen Angel, and Dryzen the Star Dragon. Each form a part of the body of Valvoga: Micky forms the upper body, Dryzen forms the lower body in the form of a gigantic dragon skull with a glowing red orb within its mouth, and Ophelia forms herself into a head in a hole in Dryzen\'s skull, placing herself directly in the center of the \"body\".
Trenia - A mysterious girl who appear out of nowhere, she seems to know everything that happened around her.
King Drake III - ...... No need to review this one...he\'s strange...and a fool...an idiot...crybaby... and weak.. Gaah.... He\'s no good at all.
Babylon - A dragon overlord, once said that he has the strongest mana power in the universe that could take Zetta and the overlord at once. However, he got a curse from the one that drained almost all of his mana power.
The One - A being that controlled everything that happened.... it says the one who bear his curse will only got 3 days to live

Graphics

Still want to ask about this one ? OMG !! Nippon Ichi character is always cute and they did so well drawing a chibi character for the battle scene. The Makai character almost resemble from Disgaea and Phantom Brave (After taking a little look with Alexander and Ash ^^). And there\'s prinny on this series too...
It looks there\'s some major difference at the dialog screen from Japanese and English version, it looks like the japanese version shows the chara design for the dialog. but the english version only shows a chibi character for the dialog screen
The art almost match this series, but thinking that it almost the same like as Disgaea and the same style, but with a more mature version for the main chara art.
overall, this series almost look the same as the prequel, however the unique of the art makes this series has a good rating for it

Sound

Sound....You still can change the dub at the option menu. For now lets take a look at the english one. Their sound match well, Zetta isn\'t doing a great job, coz its somehow a bit strange when hearing his voice. And there\'s some strange thing like, the chara shows an angry expression but the voice seems to calm for an angry expression. The english dub however, makes the games more funny than the japanese version

Fun

First, the Humor is quite funny.... its just because the story getting too serious near the end. and there\'s only 9 chapter of this game, which make this game slightly intresting.
9 chapter, but there\'s so many floor at each chapter which need more time to finish it. The unique part to make a story dungeon is to choose the overlord to make a netherworld for the dungeon. Zetta\'s need... umm... 8 netherworld to get his body back. Not only that, you can make a new dungeon using Wish Command at the HQ and talk to Zetta. Wish command is similiar to the black congress at Disgaea. but you don\'t need to get an agreement with anyone, you just need a mana power. to get mana power you can get it simply by killing people etc. btw, you can kill your own friend to get it. Which i think it makes thing easy, but you never know what happened if you always done that.
The battle system is the same as Phantom Brave. With a more complicated things like \"KEY\" that needed to be killed to go to a secret or hidden part of the stage. And now you can just simply call your troop with Zetta, you don\'t need to confine or anything like that.
You can get Laharl and the other from Phantom Brave at this series too. of course you need to beat them first. and of course Baal.....You can fight him, but i think its weaker than Disgaea.
This game isn\'t too hard, but need a little bit of time, that\'s all
