Plot Synopsis
Spira, once a peaceful land, has been under a threat from the existence of Sin for a 1000 years now. Their only hope is the Summoners. Only they are able to defeat Sin and bring the "Calm" if they complete their pilgrimage.
In Besaid Island, a 17-year-old newly made Summoner, Yuna, meets Tidus - a boy who claims to have come from Zanarkand. However, as unbelievable as it might seem, Zanarkand, is no more than ruins and rubble from war that took place 1000 years before. Together with Tidus and her guardians Lulu, Wakka and Kimahri, Yuna sets upon a pilgrimage as a Summoner in order to bring peace back to Spira.

Story & Playability
In my oppinion, the story-line was mildly cliche. Boy lives in what we consider
the "future", boy gets thrown into what he considers the
"future", boy helps save the world...etc. The ending was terrible. I
hated it. I didn't want it to end that way, but hey. Games aren't supposed to be
predictable, are they? Other than those "flaws" as I'll call them,
they story took me by surprise many times. It was pretty good. I was always
dissapointed when they weren't going to do something that I wanted them to. I
hate it when that happens. I always have a good idea of how I want things to
turn out, and they were always going in the OPPOSITE dirrection... Why?
I'm not sure if that is a good thing, or a bad thing. lol. Even though I was
dissapointed a few times, I was always excited to see what would happen next. It
keeps you on the edge of your seat. It makes you feel like you're traveling with
them. Like you are really there. Like somehow you yourself are included in the
story. It's very interesting.
I'll say it.
The story is very interesting.

Graphics
The art was pretty amazing. I was always stunned at how well it was animated
during the cut-scenes, and the battles... It never ceased to amaze me. There
were some flaws in the character design such as when Lulu was fighting, her fur
coat thing wouldn't flap around. It would stay put. Things lilke that take away
the realizm for me... But then again, maybe I'm just being picky. Some of the
art looked real many a time. That's always a good thing.
It tries to get you attached to the characters. You always have a favorite no
matter how hard you try not to. Each of the characters were designed with their
own personality. And in being so unique, it was like there was one character
designe to suit the game-player's personality. I fancied Auron. He acted the
most like me. Therefore, I grew very attached to him. Some of the parts in the
story were predictable for me. I sort of had an idea of what would happen next.
Only in a few parts though. Like every story, there is always a bad guy. Now,
why doesn't the bad guy EVER turn good? I don't think I've played one game that
had a bad guy go good. The villain in this game was very evil. I, besides
feeling hatred towards him, felt a sense of pity and grief at the same time. It
is rare that this will happen in any story. You see how he lived and what he
used to be like before he started drifting. It is sort of sad...

Sound
The music was awesome. I loved it. Some of the background music was pretty
strange though...
In some songs, I was always expecting it to pick up somewhere and it never did,
ya know what I mean? I only have the dubbed version so I don't know what the
original version was like, but when the characters would speak, it didn't quite
seem in-sync. Maybe it was just the disc I have... Some sort of glich. The only
characters who seemed as if their voices belonged to them was Lulu, Wakka and
Auron. The original versions are always so much better...

Fun
This game was so enjoyable! I would play it again if I wasn't so busy. I'm a
game-tester. I spend my money on video games and rate them on websites. It's a
strange hobby...
Even if you've never heard of Final Fantasy, I'd reccomend this game for
everyone.
It was so fun to play. It had some moments that made me laugh. Sometimes I'm not
sure if I was supposed to laugh or not... It made me smile too. It brings out
almost every one of your emotions while you're playing it. My sister, who HATES
RPGs, always wanted to watch me play it. I think that says something. The
fighting system in this game is so great... You get used to it so fast it gets
to be like drinking water. It's very fun to fight. But, like all games,
fighting gets tedious when you don't want to fight. But then the great thing
about fighting is that you always gain experience points. That makes you closer
to leveling which makes you stronger which makes you happy! It almost seemed
like it was going too fast. Like I wasn't leveling up as much as I was supposed
to be... because when I would get to a boss battle, I was always slaughtered.
Then I'd go and train more. And other times, I'd level up TOO fast...and things
would be very, VERY easy for me. So, sometimes it is very difficult, and other
times it is not. There are puzzles that they will have you solve that really
injure your brain. They are easy at first, but then... they grow harder and
harder... But once you finish them, you feel so great about it. I think everyone
likes that feeling. It's like climbing a hill and once you reach the top, you
get to slide down with the cool wind in your face. It's a great feeling.

Your review was somewhat odd, you said that the music was awesome, but
still gave the sound rating an F. I always thought that music would be
included in the sound catagory. :/
