Z827's Shingetsutan Tsukihime Game Review

Shingetsutan Tsukihime

Rated: 8

This is a Review of Tsukihime
Is it wrong to shed manly tears over such a beautiful game?
I believe not , Tsukihime is like a roller-coaster ride , tossing you into tears , fear , anguish and pain.
In deep contrast to it's spin-off , Fate/Stay Night - Tsukihime is no where near the levels of epic in terms of plotline standards.
But it does bear one thing which Fate/Stay Night never had - a deep , saddening beauty which enshrouds itself - no , a strange , soft happiness but also a deep sadness which grips firmly upon it's plotline.

Ikebana's Shingetsutan Tsukihime Tv Review

Shingetsutan Tsukihime

Rated: 10

Tsukihime is one of the most powerful anime series I have seen so far. Though it is often categorized as action, at its heart it is a moving drama. At the center of story is the relationship between Shiki and Arcueid which flowers into a beautiful tale that is utterly emotional. The story evoked stronger emotions inside of me than most things I have experienced as of late. I can't help but relate with Osiris in his review when I say that it made me shed a few tears. But over what exactly, I will leave to the viewer. While watching Tsukihime I kept waiting for a let down to appear, because every aspect of the story was of such high quality, but fortunately none appeared. It is through and through an excellent show.

Question's Shingetsutan Tsukihime Tv Review

The presentation was a complete failure. The failure to properly integrate many key game characters into the storyline, a lot of non-sensical things that left the viewer scratching his head, the famous Nero Chaos fight scence being nothing more than Shiki killing a seriously underpowered, clueless vampire, and many many other things, resulted in an anime that screamed "This could have been so much better, if we had only put in a much better effort!", and consequently the show was only midly enjoyable...and i suspect that was mainly because i was aware of what happened in the game's version of each scence.

Nauxolo's Shingetsutan Tsukihime Tv Review

Shingetsutan Tsukihime is an anime with nearly perfect pacing. There is no moment where useless events happen, and all scenes - from happy to sad - develop the anime. Although I was a little disappointed by the way things ended, this anime is definitely worth watching during a rainy day, when you're stuck in the house and want to watch something that fits the weather around you.

My favorite aspect of this anime is the overall atmosphere and interactions between all the characters. They don't blatantly force ideals or feelings on you.

Nismosis' Shingetsutan Tsukihime Tv And Manga And Game Review

Shingetsutan Tsukihime

Rated: 9

The overall presentation of Tsukihime is wonderful and quite enjoyable without going over the top. The artwork and music blend together rather nicely to give off a haunting feeling without scaring the wits out of the viewer. Some of the aspects that were important in the manga/game were left out of the anime which will leave some viewers with a sense of bewilderment. However, if you ignore some of the lesser details, then the story flows well-enough from episode to episode. A great aspect of Tsukihime, is that due to its short episode span, all of the episodes are on topic without senseless filler. However, like stated before, the short span also fights the deep storyline. Fans of series such as Elfen Lied and the manga Fate/Stay Night will find Tsukihime to be quite enjoyable.

Kawaiiguy's Shingetsutan Tsukihime Tv Review

Shingetsutan Tsukihime

Tsukihime was definitely one of my favorite short series of 2003. Weighing in at only 12 episodes, it is an easy series to pick up and watch in an afternoon. I would, however, recommend evening viewing in a dimly lit room. It adds to the atmosphere. Geneon currently holds the US distribution rights, starting with the first volume in Fall 2004. I watched the first disk as soon as I got home as was not disappointed by the release. DVD quality was good and the packaging was well done. Each disk comes with a reversible cover and keep-case featuring one female character on each side. I was slightly disappointed that Satsuki didn't make an appearance on any of the covers. The artbox for the series is well designed, with some raised textures for the letters, giving an overall "classic" feel.

Darkfighter's Shingetsutan Tsukihime Tv Review

Shingetsutan Tsukihime

Shingetsutan Tsukihime originated from the producers of Type-Moon. In their version of the storyline of Tsukihime, they actually have seperate stories and multiple endings. There the story is more detailed and different from the anime. Shiki's personality is gloomy and insensitive in the anime but in the game he is bright and positive, Kohaku is suppose to be the most wicked character in the game, but in the anime she just helps out. As for the power levels of each character only Shiki and Ros were at the right level while everyone else were much weaker. The game gives you choices and each of those choices leads to a whole new senario making sense of where the story is leading whatever way you go.

Wheeker's Shingetsutan Tsukihime Tv Review

Shingetsutan Tsukihime

A good gothic type anime much like vampire miyu. Though, with most h-games, much of the story is lost since not all plotlines are revealed and mamy of the more memorable characters from the game are left behind on the drawing board. The story behind the Tohno family is slightly cliched, but redeems itself with each family member's unique ability. I wished they could of explained more about each character like Arcuied's past and Ciel's, but still okay. The whole anime is slow in the beginning. They take their time making connections with everyone. Somehow they ignored the maids, who are more important to the plot than Satsuki. Shiki's relationship with them was pretty weak and could of been better written.

Osiris' Shingetsutan Tsukihime Tv Review

Shingetsutan Tsukihime

Rated: 9

Tsukihime has something that's rare in most animes, a good solid storyline. The anime has a gothic feeling to it, which I like. The story is hard to follow at times and gets a bit weird as you move towards the end, but you won't be disappointed with it. I can't describe how good the storyline is, it's very original and had me hooked on the first episode. There's not much comedy in Tsukihime, in fact I don't think there is any. The love story between Shiki and Acrueid was so emotional, I shed a tear(when no one was looking) at the end when . What can I say, they're a cute couple. Don't go rushing to see it because you're some action loving freak, you won't be satisfied. Tsukihime has a rich storyline with some action aside.
