What I want to say and that you all understand is that this is not a comedy anime. Not at all and even being a slice of life, romancing, high school type anime, it doesn’t have that much comedic relief. It tries to get in with it, but fails most of the time, because just after a comedic one there is a whole different situation and comedy doesn’t last for long because you are already hocked up knowing what is going on and about the atmosphere that is surrounding the characters.
This anime has one of the worst previews of any. What kind? They are none, just a text saying the name of the next episode. First thing is that for some reason, you get more intense from waiting for that and actually wanting to see what will happen .

Shoemaster's School Days Tv Review

The game series of school days contain about 20 endings in which there are 3 bad endings. The producers of the show I think wanted to create shock value to their anime series and so included some bizzare element in the ending of the story. You will find in this series that all the characters are not so likeable and as you go you might hate them especially the protagonist.
The writer and producers of this show if they really intended did portray the characters in a rather negative and untypical fashion where they are totally inconsiderate towards each other. I wonder how Makoto can go on even when the girls find out about his promiscuous behavior. Such a typical playboy attitude certainly was a good build up on the element of the plot.

Hasaki-Keissi's School Days Tv Review

As I seem to keep reiterating, the presentation was exquisite. (Not perfect, but exquisite.)
They (The Production staff) decided to, for the bulk of the show, turn the main character into an inconsiderate, ---hole with a sex drive that is just way too powerful. (I'm a guy, and I say that's not healthy, but I understand why they did that. And I will admit that I was almost yelling every time he did something that led him to his ultimate fate.) I think, that the unrealistic side of his actions and desires really was the only down part of this show. But then again, we can't have an epiphany, if he doesn't do that, so we must have him walk down the dark side.
