JetKrazy's Pita Ten Manga Review

Pita Ten

Rated: 9

Pita Ten starts and ends leaving the reader satisfied both times. I just wish it didn't end the way it did (no spoilers, you'll have to read it for yourself). The series is very enjoyable, as it never gets boring (as aforementioned). It is in a way "colorful" (even though it is a black and white manga). You can't help but love every character, even the evil ones. As aforementioned, the humor is placed well in the book, but this section, I am supposed to talk about how good the humor was. Now, the humor was okay, but it seemed like a lot of it was Japanese jokes that couldn't translate very well. There were funny parts, those parts were enjoyable and got a couple of laughs out of me, but the humor doesn't feel satisfactory.

Fireflower's Pita Ten Manga Review

Pita Ten

Rated: 7

one thing for sure; Pita Ten is enjoyable! Even though the storyline may be confusing, everything is explained out to you slowly and in an easy way in the manga.

The humour in the manga is also unique; it is expressed in drawings (e.g. a shocked Kotarou when Misha offers her services as his mother), attitudes of characters (e.g. Koboshi getting flustered over Misha glomping Kotarou) and words. All these factors sum up to create a super humourous manga!

But dont get me wrong; Pita Ten can be serious. The expressions on the characters and the screentones used soften the mood of the story when needed, and Koge Donbo really knows when and how to use these screentones and expressions.

Maceart's Pita Ten Tv Review

Pita Ten

Rated: 9

I highly recommend this anime to anyone who appreciates anime. Very well done, with KAWAII (CUTE!!!) characters, a very deep and meaningful ending, (albeit a bit sad), and overall just lifts anyone`s day with an episode. Very funny, yet serious at the same time.

My favorite episode, and the one that hooked me on this anime, was the obligatory onsen episode. It was hilarious seeing Misha trying to help Kotaro "wash", but the voodoo doll she had made everything funnyingly worse and spontaneous. Another great episode was the Ayanokoji dancing with Shia episode, although I felt that one should have progressed their relationship further.

I really liked Pita Ten. Very surprising, as the art will put off most but the bravest and libral anime viewers.

Cloudnine's Pita Ten Tv Review

Pita Ten

Rated: 8

When I started watching Pita Ten, I was slightly put off by the overly cutesy style and themes. But as I continued to watch I began to see the individual differences of each character and their charm; especially of Kotarou whose independent personality I can really identify with despite his relatively young age. Pita Ten is a cutesy anime, make no mistake at that. If you can’t stand overly cute anime, this might not be your cup of coffee. However, if you let your predisposition dictate what you watch, then you’ll be missing out on a heartwarming and enjoyable story. The music is cheerful and uplifting, the characters simply unforgettable. It’s funny moments will leave you laughing even though it’s obviously intended for a younger audience.
