This is a Review of Gundam 00 : Awakening of the Trailblazer
Generally speaking - I'm not amused.
Whilst the movie may had a memorable final scene as with any other Gundam movies , the general plot , the deviation from
the previous installments and the flimsy build-up really makes it a nasty slap in the face for those whom were
anticipating this film.
Whilst one may argue that it's a film made to broadcast the importance of understanding each other and what not ,
it is undeniably poorly executed with zero immersion compared to the previous installments.

This is a Review of Gundam 00 : Second Season : ( Don't read this if you haven't finish the First Season as there are several references being made , what? I can't help it! T_T )
The Second Season is a major improvement from the First Season. The characters become relatively more likeable (
Remember Setsuna having a unconditional love with his Gundam and Tiera being a arrogant mule? )
and some of the characters deserves a place under the heels of every audience watching this Anime ( Like Ribbons , Nena
Trinity and Wang Liu Mei. Sure , their beautiful...oh wait , that doesn't sound right for Ribbons.

This is a Review of Season I :
All in all , this particular Gundam series seems to focus a lot more on the characters rather than how interesting the
Gundam look. As I said in the Story Section , the first few episodes are simply horrible. Cheesy concept , cheesy
characters and cheesy battles. But things get better and better as it goes on as the details were explained and the
battles got tougher and tougher for our heroes. It's also nice to see the lack of clear cut black and white
morality in this Anime since both sides are actually doing the things they believe in and in the course of that , both
sides shed blood and sacrifices were dished out mercilessly.

Spiritsword's Mobile Suit Gundam 00 Tv Review

It was really slow at first and you don't really see much of a development in the story at first. But after that, the story gets more interesting. I like how the issues discussed and how the technology tries to link as much to the current world as possible. It makes this series stand out among other mecha series and more enjoyable. I also like how the Celestial Being deals with their enemies as their enemies got stronger, using strategies rather than their superior technology so that there would not be as much loss for them, and how the enemy side has shown that technical superiority is not everything, it does not only add realism and enjoyment to watching the show, it also impressed me with the fact that an Anime can include so many realistic elements.

At first, Gundam 00 isn't all that interesting; it didn't really draw me in (feel free to disagree, but that's just my opinion). Really, the first few episodes to me are just "mecha fanservice and politics". I started to think that it's just another Gundam/mecha series, nothing too special, and only kept watching out of curiosity and hoping it'll get better. While it's important to set up the situation and introduce and explain the technology (which they did, but I still find confusing), I didn't like how characters aren't developed until later; they were introduced, but you don't get to know then until later in the series, and that just doesn't have as much impact as if they were developed earlier.
