Kyuukyuu111's Matantei Loki Ragnarok Tv And Manga Review

Matantei Loki Ragnarok

Rated: 7

I've said so much already that I can't say anything here without repeating myself like a parrot. Let me just finish by saying that the presentation is extremely well done, albeit a bit cliched. While younger readers/watchers will instantly love it, most people who have already seen tons and tons of titles will ignore it, or only watch one or two episodes in curiosity before dropping it; the reason being is, the anime doesn't start to be really original until later on, and nobody wants to wait long to get into a series.

Maybe I'm giving the series too much credit; after all, I am a fan of mysteries, magic, mythology, and the whole stuck-as-a-kid scenario. I must say, though: As a veteran reader myself, I enjoy this series very much.

Rinikittybabe's Matantei Loki Ragnarok Tv Review

Matantei Loki Ragnarok

Rated: 8

I am enjoying this anime thoroughly. All together the mix of funny moments and dark scenes is very well done and the underlying dark tones keep me coming back for more. The characters are entertaining and the interactions are well done and believable. All together I have to say Mythical Detective Loki is a rounded anime that blends elements of story, humor, soundtrack, and visuals. It is defiantly something worth checking out.

Tama-Neko's Matantei Loki Ragnarok Tv Review

Matantei Loki Ragnarok

Rated: 5

Loki is not a show to be taken seriously. In fact, a lot of entertainment can be gained by pretending the overarching "deeper" plotline doesn't exist and just laugh at how silly the gags can get – I mean, how many anime make fun of Iron Chef? The characters mess up so badly it's funny, especially because as I mentioned before, Loki really doesn't care. If the show was only focused on Loki, it would be very, very boring, because all Loki seems to do is sit around the detective agency and occasionally stir himself to figure out how to regain his powers and return to the realm of the gods. It's everyone else's insane personalities that make the show even worth watching, even though their sheer ineptness makes me want to hit something with a very large mallet.
