Fallenkaze's Katekyo Hitman Reborn! Tv And Manga Review

Katekyo Hitman Reborn!

Rated: 8

Reborn is a fun, wacky, and overall great anime for any age, despite it's at times ridiculous plot it is a light-hearted and funny anime deep down. If classic shounen anime is your schtick then, you probably don't need much convincing to watch Katekyo Hitman Reborn, but honestly I think that this series can be truly enjoyed by anyone who enjoys anime, which most anime can't do, which is probably what makes Reborn such a hit among it's extremely broad fan base.

Despite it's intimidating amount of episodes and chapters, Reborn never gets old and is always funny. I would definitely recommend Reborn to anyone looking for a more light-hearted shounen.

Yumeniai's Katekyo Hitman Reborn! Manga Review

Katekyo Hitman Reborn!

Rated: 9

Enjoyability ... I simply loved the plot and the character development that happens as Tsuna discovers just how much he cares for his friends. I think it was overall VERY enjoyable, though once again, the lack of breakes grates on my nerves.
I DISLIKED the humour at the start of the manga, I detested the brainlessness of it! I agree that those were what Tsuna started fighting for and are therefore important; what I don't get is why there has to be over 50 chapters full of little more than nonsense! I would understand 20, or even 30 ...

Janny-Cats' Katekyo Hitman Reborn! Manga Review

Katekyo Hitman Reborn!

Rated: 8

--Homor--

Homor is always present in the first arc, anything from characters falling to getting embarrassed in front of the class is used. Most jokes relate to Hibari's unimaginable and ridiculous amount of strength or Tsuna's clumsiness. Even Gokudera feeling sickly at the sight of his sister is used as a reocurring joke and creatively inserted into the story.

The next arcs use humor in a more dynamic manner as a way to switch from one scene to another or suddenly change the serious tone. Gokudera carelessly bringing out a pack full of food when both Tsuna and he are in serious trouble is an example that comes to mind.

--Enjoyability--

What really peaked my interest in the manga was the large amount of lovable characters, one more silly or mysterious than the other.
