Lariel's Fatal Frame Game Review

Fatal Frame

Rated: 6

At this point, I DO know that I still quake at the idea of facing those horrors, but it is still unclear if I enjoyed that game throughly or not.

Gameplay is good. What I enjoy most will be blasting the knickers out of those hostile ghost. Combining combo shots to just shave off their lives makes me just scream aloud in joy. You would too, after numerous hours of being assaulted by these assess. I only complain that All Gods Village is simply too large. Without a map, you're bound to get loss. Stacking up healing items are absolutely a must, or you would never be able to surpass Night 3, with all those random hostile ghosts around.

Sometimes I thought that Fatal Frame II had dragged the entire thing too long. Look here; to open ONE. STINKING'.

Enchantressinthedark's Fatal Frame Game Review

Fatal Frame

Rated: 9

Overall, you'll never get a relaxing moment playing this game, even while watching the cutscenes. I remember myself screaming when this Fallen Women appeared and dropped from the ceiling. Yeah, I admit I'm a bit scared playing horror games so go ahead and call me "Miss Timid" XP

The game is kinda difficult, even though I played in Easy Mode. Seriously, without a map, you will never know where you are going because all the japanese ancient houses are so big and there are lots of rooms. Some of the doors are barely visible. It took me 1 year to finish playing the game XD Cause my mum only allows me to play during long term holidays.

And the ghosts....some you may find easy to play but some are seriously a big pain in the butt. Chitose Tachibana was a real pain.

AtmaCashino's Fatal Frame Tv Review

Fatal Frame

Rated: 10

Originality
This game is highly original, as well as its prequal of sorts, are extremely original. With an extremely strange weapon, scary visuals and story to boot. The idea of twins being used as a sacrifice to prevent the end of the world from the gate to Hell is grand. Additionally, the visuals go in your head, and never leave for at least a month.

Overall
Put short, the creaters made the perfect game to scare the living sh*t out of anyone. There are several difficulty levels, although, even the easy difficulty is fairly hard (with the toughest being "experts only," literally). The game is similar to merging the Ring with Silent Hill (any of the games, number four being preferable) with the setting in a feudal Japan village.
