Originalty: Damn if originality had a name, it wouldn't be this game ^^. I mean come on the plot's good and all but really it's just a bit like legend of zelda oracle of ages/OOT (i'm not picky) travelling back and forth between time to defeat the same enemy/nemesis (told you i'm not picky) So my respect of originality for the current RPGs didn't really bounce up like the sfx.
Humor: you could say there are some funny situations but nothing to laugh your ass of so mwah. a standard RPG
enjoyability to watch/play:
-Watch: It was so enjoyable I could hardly contain myself! lol
but seriously though it was outstanding to follow the plot, and the thought that your acts could change the plot almost gave (if it was possible) an extra dimension to this beautifull RPG.

In the time when this game was created I would say that it's originality using a frog as an 'important' main character was done much better in this game than in others. "FROGGER" I mean you. This game became an adiiction for me and other I knew. The way this RPG was set up just made you keep coming back for more. The gamer who loves RPG's such as final fantasy should definately make an effort to get this game. This games was a hard and frustrating game at time with boss battles lasting for half an hour.

However if you hang in there for the long run you will ne rewarded with a very nice ending.
Also the amount of extras in this game are amazing not to mention the extra endings.
Chrono Trigger's replay value is very high, for a number of reasons.

Let's start with a rhetorical question; How cool is Chrono Trigger?!! It's a game I keep coming back and playing time and time again.

The battle system is original, featuring ATB gauges like those in Final Fantasy. Each character in the game is unique, they have their own techniques and own magic to master. By combining their abilities they are able to perform combos causing devastating damage; some are quite clever like the frog swordsman who uses his sword as a lightning rod for Chrono's lightning magic. There are no 'random' battles in this game, rather you can see enemies as you travel and if you get too close you will enter a battle with them where they stand.

Chrono Trigger has very high replay value, I have played the game at least 10 times through over the course of my life.

Chrono Trigger stands today as, perhaps, one of the greatest RPGs of all time. Chrono Trigger was one of the most original games to hit the market, and employs a course of storyline relatively untouched to this day. The only thing better than watching someone play this classic is to get your hands on it yourself, and see why so many other people enjoy this game and consider it one of the greatest RPGs ever made. In a time where Final Fantasy was beginning to flourish, Square was able to break the mold once again when they brought Chrono Trigger to the markets.
