Dist : As much as we have been nitpicking, the story itself is actually not that bad. When it focuses on a character it does it well, when it focuses on the game it works, basically everything that a sports show should do.
It’s when the show decides to force it’s “humor” is when it falls on it’s face. It also spends way too much time focusing on Subaru, when no one really gives a damn, or should. The focus should be on the girls, but that too is a problem because when it does focus on them, they are almost always having the oddest conversations that make me feel quite uncomfortable. Thankfully these are fairly far and few between.
Overall I’m a bit mixed about this one.

Animefreak114's Fate/Zero Tv Review

Ultimately, the only things that keep this anime from getting a perfect score is the first three episodes, the anti-climactic ending, and how overall the complexity of the story, while not as mind boggling as Kara no Kyoukai or Evangelion can be, is certainly potent enough to ward away a younger audience. This is especially if they're not entirely used to anime or even somewhat familiar with the Fate franchise as a whole. But other than that, as much as I tried to see if I could find any other discrepancies with my reviewer mindset, I couldn't.
Presentation:
The strongest part of the way Fate/Zero was presented to its audience, is it's sense of purpose. Nothing in the anime seems unnecessary or unneeded.

Fallenkaze's Tegami Bachi Tv Review

Tegami Bachi is one of those shows where you go in not knowing what to expect, but come out praising it. When you start Tegami Bachi it is honestly hard to put down, the connection to the characters may not be as strong as in say Angel Beats! But it still a strong connection. As you follow Lag's adventure across Amberground a rare thing happens, you genuinely start care for Lag, and the rest of the Letter Bee's.
Tegami Bachi stands as one of the most original, yet simple animes I've seen, I would honestly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good, original, and heart warming anime.

A very unique property of the presentation is that it instantly jumps from a very funny scene to a very serious one,
from a certain act to an entirely different one, and astonishingly, without disturbing the tempo. One may think of
skipping a scene or two, but is compelled to watch since an instant you are in the current life, the other you might be
watching a flash back or a day dream. So if you are getting bored, one cannot guarantee that your boredom would
continue the next instant, as there is a high chance for you to experience this maelstrom any time. The frequently
changing story and odd events, just adds the probability to these frenzies

Weskalia's Bakuman Tv Review

As pure shounen action series go, there are certainly stronger options out there, but none of them can match
Bakuman.'s writings and few can equal it on the development of its central couple. This is not to say, however,
that everything is executed perfectly. The series does have its humorous moments, too, and its ending, which is somewhat
cut off many important parts of the original source. Curiously though, that isn't the purpose of the anime is to
make a more interpretational ending than the manga. Trust Bakuman. to take what should have been done and turn it on its
into a more satisfying end. One may have to muddle through some weak early episodes, but the late pay-off will certainly
be worth it.
It's the end of the road for Bakuman., they say nice guys finish last. Not so in here.

Tama-Neko's Professor Layton (Franchise) Game Review

This is a review of Professor Layton 6. The game is currently available for the Nintendo 3DS in Japanese.
If you hadn't noticed from my reviews of the previous Layton games, I am a big fan of the franchise. This game was
a Day 1 purchase and I had big expectations for it based on all the trailers Level-5 published. Part of me is sad that
I've come to the end of Layton's story, but Level-5 handled it well and brought closure to all the major
elements introduced in the second trilogy. The ending was deeper (and a bit darker) than I expected, considering the
franchise's track record of overly complicated endings based on someone pulling cheap tricks.

This is a Review of Rahxephon
Other than the fact that the Anime had the feeling of being a "forced philosophy" Anime, the concept itself,
the music, the interesting relation between the protagonist and the heroine and most of the side-characters really did
save this series from plummeting into failure.
The entire series was something which you'd grow to dislike and love at the same time, filled with plenty of flaws
but with enough strengths to pull you right back into the entire series itself and balance the whole series out.
Whilst it is filled with flaws, it's not something your likely to forget anytime soon.

Layton vs Wright is pretty much exactly what I expected from mixing together the two game franchises. Sometimes you walk
around a city and solve puzzles for people. Sometimes you go to a trial and try to point out all the inconsistencies of
the witnesses. Sometimes you yell "Puzzle solved!" and sometimes you yell "Objection!" All in all it
is a fun game for people who have played and enjoyed both franchises.

Weskalia's Chihayafuru Tv Review

It's a blessing that something as pleasantly effective as Chihayafuru was released at all in today's anime market. It doesn't do anything complicated. That said, the strengths and weaknesses the author developed during her previous work are still in evidence. It is clear that Chihayafuru is still an open story, the ending suggests that something needs to be done. That isn't it, of course. There's season two yet. But that's no way to end a season.
So who should watch a shoujo anime about a team of competitive poetry card playing high school students? To be sure, it has its nuances - it isn't as naive as it first seems, nor are its characters - but in the end its formula is simplicity itself: good characters, an interesting story, and beautiful execution.

Kamuinoyume's Kuroko no Basket Tv Review

Overall, I honestly do think that Shonen fans will enjoy this show. It definitely won't become the best show you've ever seen, or engrave itself into your mind that you'd be constantly wondering what happens next, but you will enjoy it.
For those fans that are looking for an engaging story, you might end up somewhat satisfied, but also disappointed by the generic rout it takes. However, fans that are invested in characters and realistic drama will be sorely disappointed, since, as I've mentioned, the characters are pretty bland and the drama is severely underpaid.
