Plot Synopsis
A young girl named Kagome Higurashi who's on her way to school goes to the well in her family's property. She was about to get her cat from the area because no one was supposed to go there she found a demon in the well instead. Taking Kagome back in time to the Feudral era of Japan. Once she heads to a village the people proved that she's the reincarnation of the powerful priestess Kikyo.
The villagers also believed that she had the powerful Shikon jewel inside her body that can grant you anything you want.
Before when Kikyo was alive, she sealed a dangerous half demon Inuyasha to a tree with one of her magical arrows. Kagome loses the Shikon jewel and awakes Inuyasha to help her recover it.
When they do get it back however, Kagome shatters it when it is taken again thus sending it far and wide. The series tells us how Inuyasha and Kagome search for it and meet new people along the way.

Story & Characters
Inuyasha. If you're an anime fan, I'm certain that you have heard of this series by now. It is perhaps Adult Swim's most popular anime, and grips new fans all the time for its mixture of fantasy, magic, romance, comedy, drama, action, adventure... you name it. Inuyasha is an anime that has something for everyone.
The demon-hunting genre of anime has been done time and time again in countless anime series, but out of all of them, I have to say that I enjoy Inuyasha the most. While the 'jewel shard hunt' drags on and gets stereotypical and boring after a while, the character and story development of the series are absolutely amazing. While none of the characters really appeal to me except for perhaps Kagome, I enjoy watching them interact with one another. I do think that some of the characters are stereotypical, but I love how some are so deep and difficult to understand, such as Kikyo and Naraku. However, there are times when other characters tend to seem 'flat' in the beginning, but in the end, there is something that makes them act the way they do and then you realize you truly cannot judge a book by its cover.
Sometimes, a story makes an anime; other times, the characters make an anime. For Inuyasha, I believe that the characters are what make this anime. However long the plot of a season may seem, or however dull it may get, I can't help but watch just to see how Inuyasha and the gang will handle the situation.
I recommend this series to all anime fans. I think that even if you don't become an OMG! FANATIC! of Inuyasha, there will be something you may enjoy about it, whether it's the art, the characters, the music, the plot, and so much more. While I do not watch it on the regular, I can't help but be charmed by the series as a whole. I love Inuyasha.

Art
The character's movements are very flowing and interesting; no character ever really seems to be just 'standing around,' even when they're talking to someone else. Their expressions and emotions are expressed almost all the time. And to be honest, I like the anime art more than the manga art. The CG style is clean and detailed, but not so much that you are overwhelmed. The colors suit the scenes and characters and are well-chosen. You can definitely tell the animators at Sunrise put their all into their artwork. The animation is very life-like and indeed one of the best I've seen. The animation of the opening and ending themes are well directed and say a lot about the story and the characters.

Sound
I'm sorry, but I just don't like the Inuyasha background music that much. Some of it is very boring. But that is just a personal opinion of mine. I also don't think the trumpets fit the 'feudal theme' too well. If the background music were more like, say, Naruto, with more traditional Japanese instruments like the shakuhachi and koto, it would be dead on.
The music that appeals to me the most of this series is the theme songs. They are beautifully animated and I enjoy the songs of this series more than any other. The music has a variety of styles but when I listen to it, I can just tell that it definitely fits for Inuyasha. If I had to delete all of my other music folders on my computer and could only keep one, I'd pick Inuyasha's music folder.

Presentation
I adore any anime series that has the capability to use more than one genre. In fact, I'm often bored when a series is only 'action' or 'romance'... you name it. But Inuyasha has so many genres underneath the general action/fantasy/romance category that it falls under, and I believe that that is why it has such a large audience. Like romance? Inuyasha's got it. Like action? Inuyasha's got it. Like comedy? Inuyasha's got it. As far as genres go, it has nearly everything - right down to tragedy and suspense.

an inuyasha review, yay!
personally, i like the series a lot. sure, it gets very long and dragging at times, but the main plot is interesting enough that i'm willing to forgive a lot.
I'm not so sure about the art... I don't know, I guess it just really doesn't do it for me.
Quite a nice review
I
like Inuyasha, though it becoming a bit too long XP
I like this animation very much.
I always look.
i think inuyasha is pretty good but i haven't read the books but i do watch the shows on adult swim everytime it is on.
I like Inuyasha.
tareren the idea is that it is long so you don't end up reading the entire thing in a few hours like you can with some others i have read. i think it is a good way to keep poeple like us busy.
I like Inuyasha too
Inu Yasha isn't too bad but then after a while it really gets me annoyed. It nothing to do with the art or plot. It's just that I'm finding it unbearable having similar plots/stories repeated over and over again. Pity there hasn't been any more news regarding the anime. Though i have to admit, the opening and closing music for Inu Yasha are awesome. I also agree on the background music part. Great review!
That is a really nice Review. I also think you did a good job on the rating. The
The
rating for the presentation is fine. All in all a great Review Thanks very much
for it
Story is good fo a while but it doesn't change much that why it get's boring after a while. For the sound I would give a B but probably just because I don't like it that much
i kinda lost in this whole thing....really don't know what i am doing but hi!^^
You can't help but love the music, some of the most consistently excellent music for a series ever, IMO. I know it seems like the same old ground's being walked at times, but I agree, at the end of the day it's the character moments that will carry the show or not. If you're engaged by the characters, it'll get you through any of the less strong narrative elements.
i look like vrey good
it is good but ,its story amazing .
The story is very good
omosiroi to omou
Inuyasha Inuyasha here i am here i am
It seems to me that u put to many of ur own opinion into the review and that only part of the review I disagree with is how low of a grade u gave story and characters. Seems to be that the jewel hunt may get boring at times even for me but I think the characters should of helped give story and characters like a C or something like that but whatever.
thnx 4 sharing
The story is very good
The story, art and music is all awesome to me! I'd agree with everything you said on this! Nice review.
