Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children tv Review
Two years after the defeat of Sephiroth by Cloud and his gang, a new danger reappears. This danger is Kadaj. He and his two brothers are out to get the cells of Jenova in order to bring back Sephiroth. Cloud, in order to stop it, must pick up the sword once again and join in the fight. With the help of the Turks and the former President of ShinRa, and his fellow friends, Cloud must prevent this danger and save Midgar and the world once again.

Ah HA The long waited FF:Advent Children takes place two years after the ending of the extremely popular [and widely seen as best game of] the FF series:FFVII.Now as for the plot of this movie I gave it a 8 [as I am sure you can see] because although it was totally gripping,I did find that at the end once again I was left with questions.Do not get me wrong it has a superb starting middl-ground,and ending however I just thought that even though Square-Enix did a great fantistic job,that they could have done better.[I am not putting the company down in anyway,the opinons of me are mine not those of MT at large or any of it's other members] The characters are back [YAY] such as: Tifa Lockheart,Yuffie Kisagari,Cid Highwind,Red13,Vincent Valentine,Barret Wallace even the little Cat sith is in it.[His voice is funny to me lol] But I digress,this plot was done very very well and of course yes to all you fan girls Cloud Strife is in it [no really] I gave the plot a 8 and I stand by it if a couple things had been changed it'd be a ten.The plot focuses around the new found world as it were,two years after that big a** rock was going to crush midgar [as I am sure all you gamers remember thinking,s*** I did all that for nothing?!?!] well you didn't do it for nothing,obviously midgar and the planet survived or there would not be a movie right? The lifestream [there's the word] saved the planet,the planet's power itself saved the planet.[that'll make sense when you watch it] However we all know midgar cannot be just happy,Geostigma "The Star Scar Syndrome" has showed up,a virus of sorts that is threatening the planet's life itself and the population.So of course now the good guys must try to find a way to stop it before it destroys everything within it's path,true it is a straight forward idea,bad thing happen good guys fix it.However there are some twists and turns in it that I found quite enjoyable,I fully FULLY enjoyed this movie I will most likely watch it everyday I recommend it to everyone FF fan or not you shall all enjoy it.

The art,the art,THE ART.Guys guys guys the artwork truly does deserve this ten,I know I know you are all thinking that dude is a newbie for giving the artwork a ten.NAH UH lol this artwork is the BEST artwork I have ever seen! Everithing looks so real [perhaps a little too real:see all the ending don't stop after the credits wait and wait for it] then you will get my point,but the clouds the rain drops the friggin eyelashes >_< lol it is ALL superb.The fight scenes ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh mannnnnn I am sure some of my friends may have drooled during those.The motion capture was done like like dude like wickedly,I seriously cannot use many intellegent words to describe the udder udder coolness of this artwork.They wayyyyyyyyyy outdid themselves for this movie in ALL aspects of it.The hair moves in the wind you can see viens on the hands or forearms,sure that kind of stuff is commen now but how many times you see a movie or anime or a friggen cartoon mess up HORRIBLY on something simple like a cloud or raindrop? How many times you see a picture perfect-crystal clear reflection in a puddle of water in a movie? That's a anime? NEVER THAT'S WHEN lol till now.I am serious people I am not just preaching bullcrap here here go watch it go go lol and if you cannot yet then watch a trailer I know it sounds weird but,to me the trailers have HALF the quality of the movie picture.

Ahhhhhhhhhh sound,good thing tis is.Now the music for the movie is is -tear drop- lol jk but it is the same music from the game YAY! Obviously they added new music and like barely tweaked maybe one song but the songs that made people cry [when they saw poor Aeris get impaled] and the one angel theme song for Sephy are in as are the other classics like the opening and so on and so fourth.Yes I did give the music a 9,I know some of you may think "what the hell??? first a 10 on the artwork now a 9 on thwe music?? is he high???" well no I do not do drugs.But the music is fantastic they managed to keep the old nolastalgic music that makes you feel warm and sad on the inside,along with the old nolastalgic music giving you that will to fight and win thing and managed to add some new music blending all of those before it well and making a all around great blend of music with dramatic flare and sad tones inbetween.Granted the ending,ending theme song [when you watch the entire thing from start to finish running time you will see both ending credits] I did not totally like yes it was good but I wasn't like rocking my head or lighting a lighter singing along while I jump up and down.But aside from that I really enjoyed the old time music,reminded me of seeing poor Aeris getting impaled and how mad it made me [yeah I got Pi**** off and went medievil on jenova,as I am sure many of you did] It reminded me of going toe to toe with the coolest villan ever lol Sephy himself.I really love that game and this movie not only adds to it and makes the experiance better in MY opinon it leaves the door open for a second movie,and frankly I hope they make one.

I am sorry but I have to give this a 10 aswell lol don't hurt me! lol it's just if I add up everything about the movie,the plot,the artwork and the soundtrack then how they put them together and made it work I have to give it a 10.I know I know alot of you probably mad with me now lol thinking how can this movie be so great he'd risk looking like a moron? One cause this movie RULES!!!!! and two most of the time if you ask alot of people here on MT I AM a moron in their eyes so yeah lol I don't have to worry bout risking any "popularity" with my views and or opinons.But anyway the over all OVERALL I want to make sure everyone gets that word OVERALL presentation of this movie was simply SUPERBLY DONE.As in su-per-bly do-ne.It truly is,from the plot twists to the confusion of how those twists were made possible lol I will not ruin the sotry for anyone but let us say that Shinra [ahhhhh yes the ebil ebil lol I know I am saying ebil and not evil let me finish >_< the ebil company is back....or is it?] lol I love messing with peope like that lol sorry.Yes the presentation was done perfectly to me it truly was I cannot see a flaw in it truthfully,I hope my review of the movie: Final Fantasy:Advent Children,has incouraged you too watch the movie when you get the chance to.As some of you know my favorite movie is EOE [End of Evangelion] well not anymore sadly,no now it is FF:Advent Children.May Heaven's Majesty And Her God Be With You All,Amen.

Thank you ^_^ I forgot to mention in my review for the plot: There are some re-apperances of some certain older characters in the film [not naming any names] and yes the SHM [silver haired men] Kadaj,Yazoo and Loz,all of whom refear to Cloud as "nee-san" or in translation older brother hmmmm interesting much? And they are looking for "mother" hmmmm what could that be?

I'm never a FF fan except maybe FF4.
Dude, story, an 8? I don't know whether to laugh about that or not. I read the whole thing. Clearly you review this from a fan's POV. I can understand that.
Advent Children is pretty but is not worth the long wait only to see the whole thing squeezed into a movie that lasts under 2 hours with a good 30 minutes wasted to those gorgeous battle sequence.

If anyone don't understand where some of the elements in the movie come from play the ps1 game and u might get a better understanding of it lol. But this is an awsome movie. I'm a big ff fan and this movie made my day, tobad i didn't get to buy it on dvd and umd in english >.<.
