Cardcaptor Sakura

Cardcaptor Sakura tv Review

10-year-old Sakura Kinomoto returns home from a typical day at school, after having a mysterious dream about a book that morning, and hears strange noises coming from her basement, where her father's library is. Upon investigating, Sakura stumbles upon the magical book of The Clow, and breaks its magical seal. Inside of the book, she finds a stack of cards, known as Clow Cards. She accidentally scatters the cards after she says the word "Windy", the name of the first card she picks up.

When the wind dies down, a small yellow creature named Cerberus rises from the book. He introduces himself as the guardian of the Clow Cards, and Sakura, upon scattering them, has woken him up. He tells Sakura that she must now gather all of the Clow Cards to prevent a certain catastrophe from happening. The story begins here, and with the help of Kero-chan (Cerberus's nickname), and Sakura's best friend Tomoyo Daidouji (who videotapes all of Sakura's adventures and makes all of her costumes), Sakura sets out on her journey to collect all the Clow Cards. Along her way she meets new friends, new enemies, and many challenges.

Story & Characters

Well...this story mostly consists of Romance, Comedy and Kawaiiness. It's about a 10 year-old girl named Sakura Kinomoto. She's a pretty normal girl like everyone else until the time she went home from school and heard strange noises from the basement, so she checked it out, but while checking out the basement, Sakura saw a strange looking book, she opened it and she saw lots of cards there, she took one of them and read what was written there at the card, "Windy", in reading that all of the cards, excluding Windy, flew out and the Guardian of the Cards, Keroberus, was woken up. The show is really good, it has some eye-catching stuff in it and it could really Wow the audience. This story is good for kids and teens of all ages. If you're not a Card Captor Sakura fan then don't bother watching then scream at it because whatever you say is not gonna do anything, just turn of the Television or watch something else but let me tell you something sometimes you may not like how things around you goes because its not your rules and stuff but trust me your gonna get used to it and you really need to get used to it....Okay back to Card Captor Sakura. The show is also full of...what do you say......"Bubbly?"...he he, It also has some Action in it and it has a total of 70 episodes and 2 movies. Card Captor Sakura is definetly one of the show that is worth not to miss.

Art

Card Captor Sakura is made by CLAMP, creators of the anime shows Chobits, Magic Knight Rayearth. The Charcters are really well made, like they have different personalities I mean think about it, Sakura is a cute, fun and bubbly girl, Tomoyo is her best friend and is also the best singer in Tomoeda School, Syaoran is the kid from Hong Kong and is a descendant of Clow Reed, Eriol is the new student from Europe and is also Clow Reed reborn, Clow Reed is the creator of the Clow Cards and the Staff and is the Master of Keroberus and Yue, Kero is the Guardian of the Cards, Yue is the judge of the Final Judgement, and many more characters to go, see told ya....he he. The backgrounds of every episode is very good indeed. Lastly the drawing Style of CLAMP. Their drawing style is very good and not like some anime shows....keep up the good work CLAMP!

Sound

The Songs are great, some of them are always full of joy like "Catch you Catch me" and "Fruits Candy", Some are sometimes just soft like "Honey" and "Purachina". All of The background musics are well made because it really fits some of the scenes at the show. Some of the songs are sung by some of the shows seiyuus like Sakura Tange, The seiyuu of Sakura Kinomoto. If you want the songs then buy the CD or even all of it if you're really an Card Captor Sakura Maniac because there are some songs that are included in the CD that aren't in any episodes of Card Captor Sakura like.....well I'm just onna keep that to myself.

Presentation

Card Captor Sakura is really a fun show to watch because it is so funny in some sort of way like when Tomoyo suddenly pops out holding her Camcorder recording Sakuras every move. It is really very enjoyable to watch (If you're a CCS fan) and the show is really exciting in some way, it's also very entertaining for kids of all ages.

It's also unlike any anime a.k.a. it is very ORIGINAL because it goes over Romance >> Comedy >> Action, until it goes over the cycle again. The shows Romance will definetly make your heart melt and your face blush, Its Comedy will make you laugh all over again and the action will make you think It is really happening. The Love Triangles and Hate Triangles there are somewhat funny.

The show has 70 episodes and 2 movies, some shows that tend to have this much shows goes down to the drain because it gets boring more and more but CCS didn't go down the drain, they made it up to the Top because the show really made the audience feel great and they also made it to three languages, Japanese, English and Tagalog, that's why those who are not Japanese still got the chance to watch this wonderful anime and to those who don't have T.V.s still got to know "What is CCS" because they have a manga version of CCS, Way to go CLAMP! Yay! Go CLAMP! Go CLAMP! Go Go Go CLAMP! Yessss!!!!!

Make sure you watch this anime and read its manga, i guarantee that you'll love it.

Overall, Card Captor Sakura is the #1 must see anime! Weeeee!

a ten is too much for this anime in my opinion. we all have our opinions. as it's lacking in a lot of things, have to admit this anime does linger for the cuteness department.
