Story & Characters
The Story line of Tenchi Muyo actually fairly good. It could of been much better but they don't have much to work with. It kind of feels like they made a bunch of random episodes and then tried to fit the story into the last episode. Tenchi Muyo has three seasons... Tenchi Muyo, Tenchi Muyo Ryoohki, and Tenchi Muyo GXP. All these story lines are all together in a total of 45 episodes. Then there are two more seasons that have nothing to do with Tenchi Muyo and have nothing to do with each other. One is Tenchi Universe which is actually my favorite tenchi series. Then the other is Tenchi in Tokyo which i do like better than Tenchi Muyo. Both Tenchi Universe and Tenchi in Tokyo have 26 Episodes. In Tenchi Muyo the Villains name is Kagato and even though Muyo and Universe are not connected the villain in universe is also named Kagato. Overall The Story is ok but you will find better ones.
P.S. The last Episode of Tenchi Muyo Ryoohki is really wierd can someone explain
it to me.
You will know what i am talking about if you have seen it.

Art
The art style is very average for Tenchi Muyo series and the Tenchi Universe series. In Tenchi muyo ryoohki and tenchi muyo gxp you can tell that they touched the art up and made it look better. Tenchi in Tokyo is my favorite art style in all the Tenchi series. It reminds me that it looks more cartoony than it is real. One thing that i like that they do in this and in every other anime is when they get mad, they get the big heads and the Chompy sharp teeth. The Art Style is very decent but i would of liked to see better so i will give it.....

Sound
Now to the audio department. Voice overs are great in tenchi i don't think that you will find one annoying except ayeka but you will get over it 4 episodes in. One of my favorite things about the sound is that Tenchi has this sword and when the light beam comes out they use the lightsabre noise. Now though i am going to tell you a very bad part about sound... In GXP they meet the cast of Tenchi Muyo. And you get to see all the people from Tenchi Muyo but the bad thing is there voice overs are the worst i have ever seen in any anime ever. I actually had to switch that episode into japanese. So if you are looking for some good sound quality stay away from GXP. Oh yeah the soundtrack it is pretty good, thats all you can say about it.

Presentation
This is a very original Anime probably the most original i have ever seen. Its not like the bang bang kill everything anime, but don't get me wrong there is still a lot of fighting if you like that. Most of the episodes are just like get mad at each other but then at the still be mad you just don't talk about it and then the next episode they do it again. In the Humor Department this does excellent, if you watch this you will laugh in every episode except serious ones but i wouldn't want to laugh in those. as for enjoyablilty to watch, you are going to want to watch this anime. This aired about five years ago on Cartoon Network (When it was Good) and I loved this anime. i remembered i got some torrents (legally of course ;p) and i enjoyed them just as much as the first time i watched it. I would recommend this anime to anyone looking for an anime and don't know what to get. Check this one out you will love it. If you end up getting this i suggest watching it in Japanese it is better unless you don't like reading. You can get the torrents from here - http://www.boxtorrents.com/

yes is good...yep the music must be better ... but the art is good... and have some situations very funny jeje... good anime
that anime got censord so bad
well...Ryoohki is a cabbit. It sounds like a cat but like carrots (that's why it's called a cabbit...i think) it's turns into a spaceship (which totally weird). That's all I can say about Ryohki. Oh yeah! She's so cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tenchi Muyo's cool and funny. (Ryoko so badly deserves Tenchi)
Emeralis i know i watched the all 6 seasons of Tenchi Muyo. I don't think you know what i am talking about.
I've only been able to watch a few episode of this series, but what I did see was really fun. I wouldn't mind catching up on missing eps, though.
I haven't seen Tenchi GXP or Tenchi in Tokyo mostly because they didn't seem like I'd like them. I enjoyed Tenchi Muyo! but I think I also prefer Tenchi Universe over the other series.

So completely underrated, here is quite possibly an artistic statement on par with Rembrandt or Monet. Although like many other good things, they get trampled on by the shallow-minded and those without an attention span to appreciate what has been crafted here. It is also a historic series as well, the first ever to have jumped directly to OAV rather than to Manga, as is it quite possibly a precursor to many other concepts or groundbreaking anime such as Cowboy Bebop. One day I hope this series is formally recognized for it's contribution to the anime world, whether far or soon.
ARG! I'm too late! Is anyone going to read this!!!???? Just so you know I know a helluva lot about Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki(the original show's full title, this review's kind of innacurate). If anyone wants to know anything about it ask ME! Because I've been obsessed with this story for seven years! Not as long as most of the fans I know, but still longer than anyone reading this I'd imagine. SO ASK IF YOU WANT TO know!!!!
Five years for me, although Anime as a concept did not strike me until the tender age of fifteen. I'm older and wiser now though, and yes, this review is inaccurate. Straighten up and fly right "Link", otherwise I'll roll out the fortress ship on you like I did on DBZ.
