Plot Synopsis
Manaka Junpei encounters a beautiful girl on the roof of his school. Pictured against the backdrop of the setting sun, with her wind blowing through her hair, Junpei manages to catch a glimpse of her strawberry panties. Embarassed, the girl runs away before he even gets the chance to talk to her. His only clue is the math notebook she dropped, with the name 'Toujou Aya' written on the cover.
The next day, he finds that the 'Toujou Aya' who owns the notebook is the exact opposite of the girl he saw on the rooftop. There's no way it can be her... Can it? Junpei then has to juggle school life, tests, his girlfriend & all the other girls he finds attractive. Just who will he end up with... Who is the girl for him?Written by norine07.Story & Characters
The story line is pretty good to all the males I know, although my sister reads
it as well. Ichigo 100 percent is about a male player; maybe such a harsh word
doesn’t suit him though. The story is
alluring because it’s usually the males,
Quote (Males) that does all the chasing, this makes the manga interesting.
Usually I’m reading some chick manga,
and I can comprehend the love triangle in manga's such as Fruit basket, Ranma
1/2, but in Ichigo 100 percent, it makes me think profoundly of what an idiot
the lead male, Manaka, is. Haha, it’s
funny actually, so many bad points, really makes a guy think does he really have
a chance with such ideal girls in reality. I got to admit though Manaka really
is a sweet guy, the guy would go any heights to protect the girls he loves.. And
as for the ones he doesn’t know, I mean
isn't it going overboard to be giving 200000 zen to a total stranger.
That’s probably the trait they all love
about him... I for one would never do that. Like Sotomura, manaka's most
perverted friend said, this guy is using all his luck in his youth haha.
What’s probably best about this manga is
it has the perspective of a guy thought and whims in it. Ahh, those strawberry
panties.. Sometimes, I come to the conclusion that the author is obsessed with
strawberry panties. Really surprised me when the author switched to cherry
underwear at a particular moment, I felt betrayed..haha.. I just stared at the
manga and stop to think. WHY?? This book is supposed to be about strawberries!!,
Ichigo is after all the japanese word for strawberry. This manga definely got
all the features that would attract males.., if your not flux by this manga, I
don't know if anything else could. Just read the manga, you'll see heheh. The
story starts at late middle school and still continuing in college, making this
manga a really inspiring love bond and motive to find the perfect girl. I feel
empowered reading this manga, nothing could stand in the way of my dreams! This
manga advocate the important of dreams, I too have bigger than life dreams. This
manga evoked an inner fire within me, I feel impaled to crush my opponents in
high school and embrace my own dreams.
Now its just a matter of time.. Until then I'll wait a while for the new
chapters to come out and see how it ends.

Art
The art in this manga can vary.. Sometimes its very sophisticated and others
times very childish. I can live with that, makes it all the more enthralling to
read. The drawings are glamorous, seductive, mesmeric, and tantalizing. Haha I
wouldn’t say glamorous to the young lady
that expose her panties to the world but it still is something the eyes behold
with open arms. The art captivates the beauty of women and their seductive
powers. The close-ups in this manga really takes your breath away.. Take a
second or two to observe the beauty of it. As a fellow artist, I like the style
and its attractiveness. Nothing beats the close-up of a lady in tears or the
glee and grace of happiness upon a grinning cheerful face. The color of this
manga is also great, especially on the covers of the manga... it matches the
emotions that are involved Specifying talking about the covers, it has a light
bright colors, the atmosphere always seems hazy as to express the anxiety of the
plot.
For the great art, and since to me few other manga can top the sophistication, i
give it a high score.

Sound
The sound in this animation is pretty good, the background music can be pretty depressing at times. The voices of the characters are so sweet and seductive at other moments. One time, my dad heard a moan from the animation and came in to check out what it was. He started to think I was watching some kind of ecchi animation so he watched with me for sometimes.. It was pretty embarrassing but in the end, he said it that the anime wasn't that inappropriate.. and that I was a growing boy -.- . I'm from the US so I don't understand japanese so I read the translation. I can't really say much about the sound since I don't know how to grade verbal acting but it sounds perfectly normal as any other original japanese animation so i give it a normal score

Presentation
The humor is really great, hahah, you got to love klutz in romantic
manga's, it emphasizes how much the girls need Manaka around to survive.
I’ve read the manga.. And was I
possessed or what. I would always say.. Last chapter before going to sleep and
the next time I know, it was 4 o clocks in the morning. It was all thanks to the
plot that I was absorbed, it was hilarious.. and at other times sad and pitiful.
The boldness of the girls keeps the manga lively and vivid. Ah, how many
chances did Manaka had the chance to make out or have sex but chicken out? Many,
you just want to know if he's going to get some, but the thought of him already
getting it really would have ruined the story. The manga itself is going through
the process of ageing is probably another reason the manga is so riveting, you
want to stop the anxiety of what's their ahead as the characters got older as to
gain some experience in life yourself.
Love mangas are abundant these days and they don't give you the rush
you had the first time you ever read a love manga, the plots are usually easy to
predict and you'll know the outcome way before it even comes out.. But that's
okay, you'll never know, the manga might surprise you with a wierd ending
that'll you hate so much. But isn't this happy ending love based? Love isn't
always fair and happy ending. There are mangas' that leave you hanging and
gloomy. You'll feel depressed and hangover once it ends, but isn't that what
we're asking for? A lot of profound emotions and self-discovery is the key to a
great manga. Ichigo 100% can be one of these mangas so be mentally prepared
Hahah.
As for the game playability, I think it would be very awkward and not
a good idea. Whoever heard of a Romance game based that was actually popular
internationally? I'm a gamer, and for me all I want to do is own people. It
gives you the sense of superiority and franking in Ichigo 100 percent, I don't
think it could be a player vs. player and if it was,
that’s very improper to the story line.
As for an idea if it was a game, it probably it something like the Sims,
constructing on emotional connection between the main characters and trying to
end up with the person you want. That would be too easy though because you can
shake all others’ feelings and not care.
In real life though, it’s not that easy
to reject someone. Period.

I'm going totally agree with you here, I loved this anime because it was just... great!
Overrated in terms of storyline. It's not original.
It's just another case where a guy is being indecisive (and insensitive) Plus, being another harem type story like Love Hina doesn't help.
>_>
Well, I think its quite good considering that its not so comical like love hina and less serious compared to I's. I like the extend of the way he does things for the girls though. It made the anime/manga more interesting in my point of view.
Oh ya, if you like love hina, the author created another manga. I think somthing to do with magic though.
I found that this series itself has to be one of the worst animations i've seen. The peeps are quite lazy that different expressions are shown by a static face. The manga was awesome but this one was pretty damn shit... so much more happens in the manga.
haha yeah animation can sometimes be so horrible, it makes you gagged.. same goes for chobits. Chobits was so much more exciting reading the manga.
haha,it quite gd
oh... i reckon chobits wasn't that bad... it was decent. It was more of the animation quality and maybe voice acting. Heard Toujo Aya's voice? SHE sounds LIKE A man!!!! i mean... she is hot and all, but a man's voice? GAD DAM
Well, i agree with white zero there. This anime is nothing special. He is probably the worst male character that i have ever met. He is too insensitive and all. The anime was crap i feel, and yea, its not original. There are too many of this kind of anime out there, and without anything special, its just like... bland. Story is stupid, i mean... i dont mean to be rude but WHO THE freak GOES AND looks FOR A GIRL WITH strawberry panties... illogical if u ask me. I've seen better is all i can say as a frequent anime watcher.
Maybe it's just me but the style the artist used didn't really deserve a 9/10 and the sound in the anime is so annoying I can barely be bothered to keep watching...
not as bad as negima. The first 10 episodes of negima is probably (most likely) had the worst animation i've seen for 5yrs as a anime watcher.
How does Mamiko Noto sound like a man? I like her soft gentle voice. Go look her up in animanewsnetwork and see who she voiced.
Hate the anime but love the manga, One of the most distinctive characteristic of the manga is definitely the art. If only there is a artbook by her. The anime didn't keep kawashita's art style which pissed me off greatly, but it did look similar from time to time when it goes for a close-up shot for one of the characters.
i thought the rating was too high for the anime or are we talking about the manga? it seems the review is jumping to both sides. Yes, the story isn't very original but originality died off a long time ago, not even shakespeares plays were original except for 3 of his plays. The sound was bad, hate those moaning sounds esp. lol. Didn't like the op and ed either but the animation for it was not bad. All in all this manga to anime failed.
It's not that bad actually oh well it's kinda like every other romantic anime they have ZzZzZz, pretty girls chasing a boy whos less perverted than others and sometimes have a sensitive side ZzZzZ.
Hmm that's because most people who draws the manga or anime are MALEs so that's what they fascinate about, having many pretty girls chasing after a guy............ I it's not the first anime that does that, I can prolly name another 10.
Overall its ok just for the entertainment value......... I don't read manga anymore after 6th grade because it just takes way too much time.
this manga is basically great...from the moment i started reading, i really think this is one of the best
