This is a story based on the game with the same title, translates to the "eternity you with for". It centralize on four friends in the third year of their high school, Haruka Suzumiya, Takayuki Narumi, Mitsuki Hayase, and Shinji Taira. Moreover it is a love story be more precise a love triangle story, both Mitsuki and Haruka likes Takayuki. The two girls have totally different personality, Mitsuki is the outgoing one, an top swimmer at their school. Where Haruka is a more shy, timid, dreamy girl who was scared to tell Takayuki that she likes him. It's ironic that after Mitsuki and Shinji hooks up Takayuki and Haruka Mitsuki realizes she also likes Takayuki and that's the reason they are friends. But at the same time the love between Takayuki and Haurka grows each day, until one day Haruka was waiting at the bus station and got hit by a car.....

After the accident Haruka went into a coma for three years, during that time Mitsuki was by Takayuki's side but their life has been affected very much. After Haruka wakes up the story really got better when Takayuki had to choose who he really loved.

All in all this is not your typical love triangle story, it's very romantic, sad at the same time, it's a story about friendship, love, and betrayal. It's a great tearjerker anime.

Art

The quality of the anime is very good, the character design is great. The artist give a great feeling of character development after 3 years. You can totally see the difference, especially in Haruka and Mituski. Even when Takayuki is not shaved, also the growth of Haruka's little sister. The city was accurately depicted as in the beginning and the train stations, bookstores. The background setting suit very well for this anime. It had a lot special places that engraved in your mind such as the tree hill.

Sound

The music is absoulately amazing I thought it suited the series perfectly, the openning and ending are very typical of traditional anmine. The OSTs include Rumbling Hearts, Hoshizora no Waltz, and the last episode featured Kimi ga Nozomu Eien, they really put you in the mood to the whole series where there's always expetation in the beginning of every episode and the sense of saddness after each one. Even though it is a very short series the openning and insert songs are very well meshed into the anime and not even to mention the it's got one of the best ending song too

Presentation

This anime's originality is unmatched, a great story that can stir up the emotion of many, not many romantic anime can match the story quite yet. The depth of the story and character traits are simply amazing, the kindness of Takayuki and the loyalty of Mitsuki who realizes Takayuki still had feelings for Haruka. Although it's not a humor anime, it did contain many funny scenes especially in the resturant Takayuki worked at, one of the waitress is just such a comic relief. Most anime lovers who are older (maybe 15+) will definitely enjoy this anime. It is not a very long anime but the story is very well linked together in each episode, every scene has a purpose and each episode you can see the development in each character. The anime is presented in such a subtle manner it almost seems like a big long romantic movie. Although the story may seem somewhat navie or unrealistic but it give us a glimpse of what's the meanning of love and friendship. How we should live our life and strive towards happiness.
