Plot Synopsis

Spira, once a peaceful land, has been under a threat from the existence of Sin for a 1000 years now. Their only hope is the Summoners. Only they are able to defeat Sin and bring the "Calm" if they complete their pilgrimage.

In Besaid Island, a 17-year-old newly made Summoner, Yuna, meets Tidus - a boy who claims to have come from Zanarkand. However, as unbelievable as it might seem, Zanarkand, is no more than ruins and rubble from war that took place 1000 years before. Together with Tidus and her guardians Lulu, Wakka and Kimahri, Yuna sets upon a pilgrimage as a Summoner in order to bring peace back to Spira.

Tidus...A Yound blitball superstar for the zanarkand abes...is about to play his match agaisnt the duggles in his father memorial tournament.....little does he know that his world is going to be completely turned upside down and his life and heart fall for a young woman named Yuna.

yuna is a summoner who has sworn on her life to protect her homeland of spira against the almighty threat....Sin

tidus is visited by sin during his blitzball match and sin totaly wipes out tidus' proud homeland..Zanarkand

tidus is helped along his desperate escape to safety by his fathers old friend Auron....

little does he know that auron is about to embark him on the most importnat chapter of his life...
along the the way tidus meets new friends..

Graphics

the art of this game totaly leaves the art of the earlier final fantasy's in the dust...
as the PS2 Boosts the players imagination with theese suberb Graphics That Leave You Wondering If This Is A Game Or A Tv Programme.

the FMV sequences are unbeliveable as they whisk you off your chair and make you wonderif what you are really playing is a PS2

i have played the game many times and i have not spotted anything out of place or something that shouldnt be there on any of the characters on the surrounding areas......you should play this game just to see its amazing graphics...

Sound

the OST of this particular title is a great and needed sequence to the story of tidus and yuna...

without the soundtrack FFX would Be A Waster Of Time......

the sound effects leave you in the dark wondering if they are in your head or real.

during the process of the game you will come along an FMV sequence where a vocal song is intorduced this song is a wonderful match to the gameplay and it suits the scene perfectly.....hats off to nobou uematsu who composed this wonderful song..

there is a mix of genres of sound within the game...

for example...a sad scene would be backed up by slow soft music and mabye a soft beat to it.....as for the battle music it is fast and very addictive.

if you like love storys...then FFX is the game for you.....
wondering through an unknown world you will be hypnostised by some of the outstanding scenes which take your breath away..

there is some humour in FFX although it is very rare to see it due to such an intense battle between the human race and inihalation.

i really recomend this game to many people if they are interested in RPG Gaming or just want to be a part of some great love story.....

the difficulty of the game is not very hard but you need to have a good background of the final fantasy games to totaly get whats going on and how to use the battle system....

as for the leveling up system....thats long gone

a new system has been introduced which you will gradually get used to as the game progresses...
in FFX you can change characters in battle with the push of a button.......
you can actually summon Aeons and use them to fight with in battle...unlike the old system where summons only had one powerful attack.....aeons attacks can be used for a number of times

dont be dissapointed by the end of the game as Square-Enix have developed a carry on for it....FFX-2
