Plot Synopsis

Spira, once a peaceful land, has been under a threat from the existence of Sin for a 1000 years now. Their only hope is the Summoners. Only they are able to defeat Sin and bring the "Calm" if they complete their pilgrimage.

In Besaid Island, a 17-year-old newly made Summoner, Yuna, meets Tidus - a boy who claims to have come from Zanarkand. However, as unbelievable as it might seem, Zanarkand, is no more than ruins and rubble from war that took place 1000 years before. Together with Tidus and her guardians Lulu, Wakka and Kimahri, Yuna sets upon a pilgrimage as a Summoner in order to bring peace back to Spira.

Story & Playability

This game is about a guy named tidus. The game starts in zanarkand right before a blitzball game.(blitzball is like a underwater soccer game but you can use your hands) Tidus is playing in the game whenever a huge beast named sin comes out of the ocean. This makes everyone run around trying to get away from the ocean. But sin was too fast and Sin smashes the city and sends tons of little monsters onto the city. After this happens you meet up with auron and fight them. After this Tidus gets sucked up into a big thing and he passes out. When he wakes up he is out in the ocean. So you have to swim out into the water and fight some monsters and then you get into a cave. So you start going around finding things to help you. The story is excellent and it is very addicitive and you are always on the edge of your sear. The story was great. I think that the best part of this is they were very unique and didnt copy any other game at all when making this. So that is why i loved this story so much and it never really got old or boring.^_^

Graphics

The art was good. The gameplay art is very detailed and the enviroments are drawn with amazing detail. One of the amazing artistic achievements are the movies they are very good and the 3-d is very good. One of the other great artistic achievements are when the creatures and other things attack. It was very good. I think the gameplay art could of maybe been a little better but it wasnt bad whatsoever. I think that this is one of the best artistic games that have been made so far. That is why i loved this game because throughout the whole game you would just be in total awe.

Sound

The sound is good and they did a good job with the voices. Sometimes the voices will sound weird though and the subtitles somtimes show the wrong name of the person talking and that is kind of annoying. One thing i didnt like was how you could not get rid of the subtitles that was kind of annoying. But overall I think that the sound was good and they did a really good job on it. This soundtrack is better then most and definately up at the top of my list. It is one of those soundtracks that I could just constantly listen to. It's excellent and i have heard the songs so much that i usually start humming them throughout the day.

Fun

They presented this game very good and kept you intrigued with the story line. They also made this game very hard so it is not one of those games where you beat it in a week. It took me a month the first time. The originality is great and i like how they make every final fantasy game different but its still in the same time period. Also in parts of final fantasy 10 you will see people from other games like final fantasy 7 and final fantasy 8. This game was funny in parts and dramatic in others. One thin g that I love is how the difficuly gets harder and each boss throughout the game really test your gaming skills I think that this was one of my favorite games i have ever played.It is a game that you dont have to be obsessed with to love but if you like it like i do than you would be obsessed and it only gets better as the game continues.The fighting system in this game is so great... You get used to it so fast.It's very fun to fight. But, like all games, fighting gets boring and frustrating when you dont want to fight but the good thing about fighting is that you gain experience points which will get you closer to leveling up.
