Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon

Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon tv Review

Usagi Tsukino is a young girl who loves to eat and sleep, and hates school. Her life completely changes one day, when she rescues a cat from some bullies; the cat later gives Usagi a brooch that allows her to transform into Sailor Moon and fight off the awakened forces of evil. Although clumsy at first, Usagi gradually learns to fight and meets valuable allies, as well as formidable foes, all while learning about her mission and mysterious past, which spans millennia of battle and romance.
The story is a sequel to Codename: Sailor V, which focuses on Minako Aino's time as Sailor V before the events of BSSM.

Story & Characters

The story is about a teenage girl and her group of friends fighting evil sent from the negaverse.Of course it has alot of action in it,because it is a superpowered girl show. From the romance in it to the rip your heart out scenes its a romantic comedy Anime. Some of it is romantic like between Serena and Darien, and some of it is horrifying like the fights between the negaverse and the Sailors. Also because Serena is a klutz and her friends are kind of too.....it gives it a comedic feel.Personally......Sailor Moon is a very imaginative story that can actually touch your heart in so many ways.......anybody who enjoys romantic comedies should watch it if they haven't all ready. If you ask me its a very good anime that you can enjoy as long as you watch it..........its heart warming and gets edgy too.......itsd not a Anime for only certain people it can relate to all of us..........even those who hate girly shows......if you ask me Sailor Moon is a great anime cartoon for all age groups........if you enjoy anime you'll enjoy this!

Art

The graphics in the show are great........especially when it comes to the parts where magical changes take place......though sometimes I could think of areas where they needed to fix it a little.Overall the art and graphics are very good indeed. The realisticness it great effects.....every show needs something to make it seem really good.....the art us very creative with the characters.....I enjoyed how they all looked.....The backgrounds and graphics everything is really cool to watch.....if you like stuff like this then come on and watch it if you haven't.

Sound

It puts music where it sounds good............so yea this is a good characteristic because the show includes songs that go exactly with the parts they need to.The sounds are perfect for some effects......it brings the story to life......some J-Pop in it is romantic other is just flat out everyday life J-pop........I enjoy the sounds because they allow you to understand what happens in each scene.....sometimes it isn't neccessary for music but it still sounds good...........overall they chose a great selecton of music and sound for the show.

Presentation

The presentation was good overall.....it had humor with the klutzy 14 year old Serena/Usage.There was lots of good laughs.....though it also had some sad points too.....like where Darien or Serena or one of the Sailors get hurt......there were some near death points too......Also there were some scenes where it was difficilt to understand what happened but it all adds up in the end of the scene.....it was great to watch.....I don't get to see it anymore but I still try to find ways to do so.....I always liked the theme song......lots of J-Pop in it......it had some romance in it......that even made it better......but overall I'd say that Sailor Moon was a great TV show to watch.....if it came on again I would deffinately watch it.....it showed be anime for the first time.....its a humorous, romantic cartoon.....anybody who watches it should like it if they like that kind of Anime......personally I love this show I always hove.....it adds up a great deal with its presentation alone....overall it has great presentation.

too many dots ! could have touched more on the people in the anime and less of the dots, but sailormoon wasn't all that bad to be honest, although the english version was cleaned up quite a lot, watch the original version to get the full effect of the anime in question.

Seems a bit spam in style to me, could have used some work as well.
