Plot Synopsis

Onizuka, age 22 ex biker gang leader, one day decides to become the greatest teacher in the world. There happens to be several problems with this however: One, Onziuka is a loud mouthed, crude, foul mouthed lecher; and Two, he has basically no teaching credentials. However the head of a private academy has a problem with a class causing every single home room teacher to quit and hires Onizuka to teach because of his unique style. While not being a very good teacher for regular subjects (what teacher wears a elephant head to class or paints graffiti on the walls?!), Onizuka is a great at teaching about real life and as the anime progresses he deals with different problems that the students have in comedic and interesting ways.

Story & Characters

This story is about a guy named onizuka who lets face it, is a complete pervert. All that he thinks about is girls, girls, and more girls with certain magazines in mind. So one day he is talking with one of his friends and his friend says that he should get a job so onizuka starts thinking and decides to be a teacher. O f course the first thought in your mind is why would a perverted young male want to be a teacher. Well it all started when he was sitting at the bottom of some stairs and was looking up girls skirts when one girl comes up and starts talking to him and than after a chain of events onizuka ends up at her house when she starts crying about her boyfriend and how she ran away from when and then her boyfriend comes up beside the window and onizuka finds out that he is a teacher so onizuka decides to be a teacher and get with some of the students.^_^ As you probably know it does not happen that way and he ends up enjoying the job and finding some good friends like nana. So he goes through training and goes to become great teacher onizuka.

Art

The artwork in this anime is pretty good but I have seen better. I mean it is good it is just that it kinda looks like they didnt take as much time. But the manga is not that bad at all. One thing i really like about the artwork is how at different times they will portray him as a old man or as a person who looks nothing like onizuka with a angry face. This typoe of artwork can be misleading if you are not really paying attention but whenever I watch anime I pay full attention to it (unless im on the computer) but the artwork was pretty good overall in my opinion.

Sound

The sound is good but I thought that it slightly differed from the japanese voices on the english version but it was pretty close. The soundtrack is kinda up beat. I like the was that they put really tense music music in parts where onizuka is in trouble and slow music in slow parts of the episode. They really portray true originality in this soundtrack making the music never annoying. Ans the dubs are very good and it looks like they really spent some time on making it the best it can be soundwise. So I give it a thumbs up in my opinion.

Presentation

The humor is outstanding (keeping in mind that this is catorized under humor) and I found myself laughing through the whole show. I love the way they portray his character and he is totally funny how he says things. One of the funniest things about it is he never learns from his mistakes with girls and gets slapped all throughout the show. The originality is good saying that this is a pretty original anime like how they made it. I really enjoy watching this anime and it is one that I can watch at anytime and it will never get old and so that is a huge factor in enjoyment and I think every anime should make their presentation this good because it does not have that many flaws in my opinion. This anime shares something that some anime cant like the fact that you can watch this anime more than once and it never gets old so that was a true accomplishment in my opinion so I giv e it a thumbs up all the way and I would strongly push anyone who like humorous anime to watch it cause it is very good so i think the presentation of it was good and was one of the best I have seen.^_^So go and watch it.
