The Legend of Zelda tv Review

Three goddesses created the land of Hyrule. When Ganondorf, King of the Gerudo Thieves and one of the Wielders of the Triforce tries to take over Hyrule the two other Triforce Wielders try to stop him. One of the Triforce Wielders is the Princess of Hyrule. The other is Link, the Hero of Time.

Link must find items that are relevant to his quest to go through the terrible dungeons that the evil Ganondorf has made. Only Link and Zelda can save Hyrule.

Story & Characters

I do not know which Zelda is this, so i will Review Ocarina of Time, strait down the best game ever created on the Nintendo 64, and problably one of the best games of all time. This great story starts off with a little kid named Link, he is like a elf and lives in like the elf village. He goes around battleing bosses and uncovering secrets. One day the great Deku Tree wants to see him and tell him all about the Triforces, which are courage, power and wisdom. Link has courage, Zelda has the wisdom and Ganondorf has the power. They are sort of like powers, and they are not items. After the evil dude named Ganondorf kidnaps Zelda, the princess of Hyrule which is just outside where Link lives. Ganondorf wants the whole triforce not just a part of it. Now Link just wanders around and helps people out, at the same time trying to get the special elemental jewles. After he gets all 3 of them, he goes into this place called the Temple of Time and puts the jewles in and he opens this door and there is a sword which he has to pull out, after he pulls it out he magically grows up and obtains the sword. Everything is now changed and alot of things are destroyed due to Ganondorf. He now must go to these elemental temples and defeat all the bosses in them. After all that he goes to the Ganondorf's castle and thats when the battle begins. Overall its a great story.

Art

For a old game the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time packs great graphics, not the best but they are good. You wont find any problems with the graphics, maybe some minor disturbing ones but everything else makes up for it. The characters were drawn nicely, most characters you can never imagine, so you gotta play the game to see what they really look like. Overall the artwork is pretty average, nothing special in graphics but it suits the time it was made, and its for Nintendo 64, you wont find the best graphics on this game system. The creatures and bosses and also the backround were greatly created, you can tell whoever did that put some good time on it.

Sound

Ah, the sound, which this game has plenty of. There is some really addictive songs here, some which can get stuck to your head and never get out. The character's occasionaly speak out loud, maybe during some major events, but it is mostly text, and i dont have a problem with that. When you play the ocarina, its like your playing the real thing, you just use buttons. Like if you play the 'Zelda's Lulluby' it will play kinda sad Lulluby song. The battle themes fit the boss you are fighting and when you walk around like if its day it wil play a cheerfull song, and if its night, when skeletons rise and other creatures, there would be sort of a scary song, so the music fits the enviroment and everything else. The sounds the items make and attacks are great too, overall i give sound a plus.

Presentation

Hm, yeah there is some humor in this game, especially where these giant rock creatures run after Link to hug him, thats all i can remember for the humor, it was pretty funny. Link trying to save a princess, and the whole world, its pretty nice. This game is really, really, really fun to play once you get into it. It will surely take alot of your time, and this game is pretty long too. It took me maybe over a month to beat the whole thing, but i did not play 24/7. There is some mini-games in here that are lots of fun. Like there is bowling where you have to use this crawling bomb to hit the target, as you get farther there will be objects in the way, like some machine and these chickens that piss me off, because they get hit by the bomb and i lose. There are some other pretty fun mini-games but i forgot them all since i played this game long time ago. This game can be hard to play, and yes you can get stuck in a few places, but it takes a brain, because there is lots of puzzling things, in temples and everywhere else. What i really like is the battle system which is freeform, that means you just run around and hack'n'slash the monsters, but bosses are different, you gotta use a strategy against them and they can get on your nerves. Also some common monsters take a bomb or something special to beat. Overall a excellent game.

I'm afraid that this review doesnt give much justice to the game. ^_^
Zelda games are very fun and addicting. They totally challenge your skills as a player in terms of wisdom and strategy. This game is great not only because of its gameplay, but also because of its very interesting sound support. The sounds of the games are very unique and entertaining to listen to. The control system is easy to pick up and the character movement isnt hard to master. The story line is very intriguing and really interesting.
But hey, I do respect your opinion regarding this game. I just said my side of it thats all, but its stil a nice game, dont you think? ^_~
