Story & Playability
" It is the early 2060′s. A mysterious disaster that occurred in 2040, “The Great Change”, made it impossible
for flights over 500 feet. The area between 500 feet and space where no aircraft is able to fly is called “Artemis’s
hymen”, something that can never be broken. The Third New Tokyo International Airport was abandoned during
construction (nickname Edowans) and now serve as a place for the remaining pilots to gather. In a world where flight
over land is forbidden by law, these pilots still fly airplanes and run a transport agency that may include illegal
work. Tajima Haru is almost 20 years old. She’s cheerful, honest, polite, and hardworking. She loves airplanes and
have always admired the “sky” and becoming a “pilot”. She uses her guts to fly alone to America after high
school and to obtain the pilot license after two years in aviation school. After returning home, she goes to an
interview with “Kubo Air Transport” in “Edowans” to apply as a co-pilot. In that company was the legendary test
pilot, Katsura Keima, who almost broke “Artemis’s hymen” in project ikaros. "
The story is about Haru’s challenge and experience as a pilot, and how she interacts with people in the company and
other pilots. The story takes on a chapter by chapter format and each chapter introduces a new guest character or a big
turn in events. The focus is on their slice of life, then later in a transportation job or resolving character problems
(not much conflict).
The story in this game is pretty good. This is something you might see as a TV show and this game didn’t even need to
be an eroge. The characters in this game were awesome, and the voice actors in this game were good (especially
Haru’s). The characters created a great atmospere which lead to fun slice of life scenes and quite a few heartwarming
experiences.
However, this game also had lots of faults in the story. First, some plot development were unconvincing (like Haru’s
romance and her choices). There were lots of overdescriptive moments, and I hated repeated scenes of departure (not to
mention bad english pronunciation and spelling errors in those scenes). This lead to bad tempo in the story from time to
time. The biggest thing fault I saw was that the author seemed to switch gears in the final chapter. Before the final
chapter, the story did an awesome job building up the story for what I believed was going to be resolved/challenged in a
grand fashion in the final chapter. However, the “fire” seemed to be lost as all the buildup for challenging the
Artemis Blue was completely thrown away in the final chapter and the focus went somewhere completely different. This
change in direction left a lot of questions (such as what happened with Sara and Haru’s challenge on Artemis Blue) and
it also left me annoyed at how the story went against my expectation of what it led me to believe.

Graphics
The graphics were good, and there were lots of CGs for a game this length. There are almost 140 CGs, and there were
quite a few CGs devoted to airplanes, too. Don’t know if that’s good or not. One thing I didn’t like was the
proportion of the people in CGs, and also how the guys were drawn. A lot of the guys were poorly drawn in CGs and
sprites. However, Ally’s cuteness is justice.

Sound
The music is pretty good and matches the effect/story. There are 33 tracks, in addition to 3 vocal songs. The vocal song
is pretty good and matching the story too. The BGM has lots of arranged old songs. It does the job, but I don’t think
any were really memorable or exceptionally good.

Fun
The story felt like it introduced a lot and made people assume a lot of things that may happen in the end, but actually
went in a different direction. If you can look at the chapters individually, it may help.
Recommended for people who like slice of life, people who like drama.
