i've seen worse hentai before. i actually think bible black is one of the better ones. sure, it has some pretty hardcore scenes but the art was certainly good. and the storyline deserves more than a 1 rating, considering this is hentai

Story & Characters
Some witches get together and summon Satan using an unholy book (Bible Black, I guess). Years later the main character, whose name illudes me, finds said book and uses its evil, sexual-oriented, over-18 powers to cast spells for money. This gets him into many a... wet?.... situation, one of which involves his step-sister(yummy). He's commisioned to cast speels on some of his school mates to cause their already raging hormones to go rampant between two people. This created such seen as: random hallway sex, random basement sex, random touch-step-sister-she-goes-crazy-in-the-other-room-alone sex (still creepy), and my favorite, random girlfriend walking in on you with another sex. He is found out by the last survivor of the original coven who is a hemaphrodite demon with a "spring-loaded" (as in not there... wierd soundeffect squish thing... there) part...... This demon thing then taked the main dude under her control through a ceremony involving sex, what a surprise there! That seen was extremely creepy. Just trust me on that. The demon woman gives the main character "nigh absolute power." In other words, he can make anyone he touches ultra-ohmygodimgoingtokillmyself horny. Then the two of them start to recruit slaves. Thats where the one dvd I saw ended. I don't want to see another one. In general its really creepy with wayyyy too much fluids and wierd squishy sounds. Yeah... the story was not what your watching this for.

Art
The visuals were good, but the motion was crappy and robotic. They over emphasized the quality of the art, but under-emphasized the quality of the motion. The costume design was pretty cool, but deffinatly hentai-themed (short skirts, lots of uniforms, low-cut and sheer tops, ect.) The symboling used in the spells looked cool as did the spell effects themselves, but I had no idea what they said because they were all in katakanji or latin or.... something (could have been, and was most likely, giberish). All of the females were... gifted with huge..... tracts of.... land.... The physiological part was okay for males, but rather disturbing for females (looked very odd). Teh backrounds were high quality also.

Sound
The sound was nasty. The speech was horrible. The script was really, really bad and the voice actors must have been paid about $3.50 because that was all it was worth at its best. At its worst (when people were screaming for whatever reason) the voice acting was worth around -$20. Not a goodie in other words. The sound effects were even worse. For some reason the creatots went crazy with the fluids - i.e. the sounds that followed suit were all nast sounding suish/plop/jet/ughhh sounds. It was bad. Teh soundtrack was golden in comparison. It was not the best soundtrack I've heard (mostly consisted of old-sounding computer/techno music), but it did ever-so slightly lessen the pain from the rest of the sounds.

Presentation
The presentation was deffinatly sub-par (duh... it is a hentai). For the story matter, I'd say it was semi-original. Maybe if it was in another genre and not so chessy it'd be pretty cool. The fact that Satan used fleshly desires as a means of corruption is Biblically accurate (I go to a Christian school... what a good example I'm beeing), but a major downfall with the entire theme was that from the "Bible Black" hung a Star of David.... yeah, I didn't get it either. It was really annyoing too and eventually became an inside joke amongst we who watched together. Also, the mantra the original witches chanted (Satan, Satan, Master Satan.) was pretty funny. My brother nad myself made fun of it so much that my frined whom I was staying with was worried that all he would find the next morning was schorched bed sheets. The visuals did soften the pain though, but the certain... moments... were played out so badly that it didn't do much. Also, all of the motion during said moments looked mechanical,. It was pretty bad.

Yeah but he hit the nail on the head with the voice actors... I'm sorry the 18 year old girl who sounds like a grandmother just isn't that sexy.. ugh... I picked this up thinking i would laugh like in La Blue Girl... nope... but the storyline wasn't that bad... and i have definatly seen worse

Ive also seen bible black i just skipped the really bad parts. I think you kinda bashing this anime just beacause its not your taste. If you sat there and watched this entire hentai movie only to talk bad about it in the end then that is your fault alone my friend.

I disagree with that rating. 2.83 is too low. It should at least deserve a 6/10.
The story is one of the best I've seen in hentai anime (though I haven't watched that many hentai), and the animation is good.Did you watch the English dubbed version? Imari sounded like an old hag, am I right?
If you watched the Japanese, the rating would change. Like they all say, English dubbed hentai isn't good, (well not all English dubbed hentai is terrible, some are fine).Certainly not a 2.8/10, I'd say at least a 6/10.

Are you brainless or something? This is one of the most interesting hentai around. I can understand giving it 6 or 5, but 2.8? You probably didn't even watch every Bible Black series, just the first one. The other are really good, especially the graphics.

I agree the voices weren't that great... but who watches for the voices alone? and if you're going to write a review on something... watch all the episodes - not just 1 out of 15... And writing a review for an anime of a genre you don't watch alot of isn't the best thing to do, as you will get met with responses like these. And I agree with Sethimothy, perhaps the reviewer's opinion will change when they come of age to watch ecchi (and the rest of the episodes in this particular series) and appreciate it.

Not even because of the series, you just misspelled way to many things, your grammar is horrible, and the fact that you watched this with your brother and friend creeps me out. Also, ALL anime has sucky English dubs. The best way to watch any anime, even hentai is with English subs, but the original voices in Japanese. -

What, who should he (or if you are a she) watch it with - his or her sister or parents? I think you're being way too biased and actually targeting the author for not agreeing with you. I have never seen the anime, so I cannot actually testify to this review, but this person can share their opinion. However, spelling and grammar mistakes should be fixed.
Be wary of them in the future.

If you seen it with dub then it sucks. I cant understand why the people like dubed anime or hentai. I have not seen many dubed because i couldnt listen to it. Original is allways the best. And to the story and graphic. Well if you dont like hentai then you shouldnt make a review for one. The graphic and story is one of the better ones if not also the best from this genre. I agree that someone how look at it and its not his taste can look at it like something terrible. But dude look on more hentai then you see this has also a storyline and graphic design.

Even though it's limited in a review, but I can't argue against this, however I would have probably given it a lot worse. You can make an anime without all that stuff in it.
