I've added screenshots but again, they don't seem to appear.I also avoided as much as possible using ' or " because as you can see in the second last phrase it would have been transformed into a slash.
Teizokurei Daydream ova Review
Story & Playability
Teizokurei Daydream also called Vulgar Spirit Daydream or Ghost Talker s Daydream...To me, the story seemed pretty
good.
The main character(Not that there are too many) ,Misaki Saiki does not seem to care so much for her life(at least she
cares less for her life than the coward Kadotake that gets scared even when he sees a mouse, not to mention ghosts). The
red eyes in combination with the white hair make Misaki look like she can kill you in any moment(but that is not true,at
least not all of it).
I heard the story does not follow of the manga too much, besides one of the episodes.
Maybe it would have been better if they would have taken out all the ecchi stuff, but that could have made the anime too
boring for some people...but not for me.
I am hoping that one day, this series will be made into a 13 or,why not 26 series show or at least a 2 hour length anime
movie.
Anyhow,the story gets a 9.

Graphics
The art...how should I put it...absolutely ruled.I think this is one of my favorite drawing styles from all my seen
animes.Great coloring and great drawing. The character faces are made very smoothly.
I love how the characters are drawn and the drawing style used is(at least to me it seems so) similar to the style used
in Elfen Lied.Maybe it is because they are both, series made in 2004.
Maybe this style does not match too much the Super Natural-Weird-Ghostly like genre, but I still think this anime has a
great art.
The Special Effects though are not outstanding.A ghost is made like a default ghost would be:glowing white and shinning.
There are no big crashes,no lightings,no fire-related stuff.
There is nothing more to be said about the art.
9 For the art.

Sound
Because this anime is an OVA,it does not have an opening and an ending theme,so there is not much to review here besides
the voices:
The voices are pretty well done in japanese(I did not see the dub,and do not think I will ever see it).
Asano Masumi din a good job on the voicing of Misaki.
So...no opening/ending and not much of a music.
The rest of the characters do not count as much as Misaki,so their voices are not that important in the series. For
example Mitsuru does not say more than 10 phrases throughout the whole series.
The sound just does not have any category where it could go wrong.So...
10 for the voicing and for the sound effects..

Fun
The presentation is,I think, the worse part of this show.
While the enjoyability is not that bad,the whole ecchi stuff, fan service and the not-so-many humorous moments make this
presentation not that good as the rest of the elements of this show.
Also, there are not many people who have heard of this series, not to mention seeing it.Maybe most of them have read the
manga.
But because this a 4 episode only series you do nott have to get so bored. Its just that Teizokurei Daydream tries to
accomplish the requirements of many genres(like comedy,science-fiction,ecchi, mystery or drama) and in most of them it
fails.
The DVD also has some extra art and stuff, which is not something you would die to see,but for fans of this series I
think it is good to have. Also, the DVD cover is not very suited to this anime, because when you look at it you begin to
think this series is some kind of a mixture between Bible Black and...I dunno,Serial Experiments Lain or something, which
is totally false.
While the plot is simple enough for almost everyone to understand, the adult content and the not-too-much-but-still-there
blood denies the 12 to 16 year olds to see this series.
Sadly,I don't think anyone that sees this show will remember it for too long.
So,i think the presentation will get an average 7.
